It’s a good time to look for sasquatch, there’s no foliage. I think using a drone when there is no foliage is the best chance to track one. Also if the sasquatch walks in the dead leaves he makes noise so it’s easier to spot from a concealed position.

It could have been laying up next to a log and reached out and grabbed him. Another abandoned car, left running and driver never found.
