A listener writes “Hello Wes. My husband and I started listening to your podcast like maybe a month ago.

I’ve been trying to get my husband to email you to tell you what happened to us years ago. We live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and we are trying to remember if this happened back in 2004 or 2005. But I’m sure it was in 2005. We don’t know what it was or where it falls into. But I really would like for you to be interested in listening to what happened to us.

Back then we were by the lake (Lake Michigan) and it was right after sunset when we were about to leave and saw something coming out the water. I think I saw it first or maybe at the same time. But this thing came out the water and it was like the size of a dog like a golden retriever. But as it was coming out of the water it started growing like to a bear size. And it was going behind a big log.

Once it got half way behind the log it stood up on two feet. But when it stood up it wasn’t the size of normal man. It was really tall. And it started /walking moving really fast. It kept walking til it went to the trees. By that time we knew that we couldn’t go up the long stairs that we took to go down to the lake. Cuz the tall trees were on either side. But saw that it was coming our way but still in the trees. So we starting walking fast towards the opposite direction that it was. We never ran. And we kept our eyes on it. We could see the face or the eyes but this thing was really tall and I think what scared us more than anything was how it was moving.

We kept walking and my husband was grabbing big rocks as we did. He never thru one. So we kept walking and didn’t scream or cried. We were in shock but kept walking. So we walked til the sand turn into payment. Once that side walk started the trees stopped. And there were more street lights. And the side walk leads to a park. We were still looking back but once we got to the park we kinda ran. But we still had to walk all the way around to get his car. And we were parked on the street right above from where the stairs were. We got to the car and left. We were terrified. We’ve told close family members but they just thought it was funny. We never knew what it was.”
