A listener writes “I’m not sure who to turn to on this. Yesterday my wife and I were mushroom hunting in our 50 acre woods and saw something we simply cannot explain. I believe I had a sasquatch encounter a few years ago while bow hunting and now this happened. Not sure if they’re even related.
I have attached some images to help explain what happened, but in short, we first heard a very loud break like something big stepping on a huge stick. We stopped and then started hearing something that sounded very large moving about 60 yds to our SE. There was a strong wind coming from the SW blowing NE yesterday, but even through the rustling of the trees we could hear what sounded like something big moving around.
All of a sudden it sounded like an elephant was charging us and then my wife said, “Look at that tree!” About 40 yds in front of us we both visibly watched this 40 foot tree bend over into the wind. We watched it split and crack about 6 feet up the trunk as the top came within 5 feet of the ground before it stopped. It wasn’t top heavy. No signs of death or lightning strike. Nothing landed on it and as you can see from the images, it was not being uprooted. It was like some invisible force just grabbed that thing and bent a perfectly live healthy tree until it split the trunk.
Have you ever heard of anything like this? My wife refuses to go back in the woods now. I’d appreciate any help or input you may have. Thank you.”

Something didn’t want them in there. That is weird. I’m guessing a squatch in predator mode. Everytime I say something like that I can hear my brother start to laugh. He’s a deer hunter. He did feel something in a tree once and finally shot his arrow up into this space in a tree, it was just creeping him out. He never found his arrow and he never got creeped out there again. I’m sure whatever it is if part paranormal, it’s not hard for them to do things like break trees and it’s up to them to show themselves or stay either in a different dimension or just not appear where we can see them. It does sound perfectly crazy too.
