Is Bigfoot Dangerous?

Mattsquatch Presents writes “Some people believe that Sasquatch is a blood thirsty killer. Others believe that Bigfoot is a gentle forest giant. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle and Sasquatch should be approached with caution. Just like any other wild animal, feral human or Ape would be.”

Since this topic was moved to the SC Forums and its not any play or response here let me repeat what I mentioned about this on the forum.

In the Midwest, the Michigan Territory more specifically, the three largest groups were Ottawa Potawatomi and Ojibwa. The giants or hairy people who smelled bad were called, Prairie People, and the Ottawa appealed to the Potawatomi to join an alliance to annihilate Prairie People giants who the Ottawa claim were so numerous they were as thick as leaves on trees ….

Think about that for a moment.

Envision anywhere America during the 1700s–early1800s as an undeveloped, untamed world lush with trees, prairie and swamp land.

How many leaves on each tree?

So they formed an alliance to destroy the giant prairie people not because they were friendly and loving people who were just like playful chimpanzees or because “man” was so violent. These things stole food, abducted humans and consumed them.

    Further, the peoples of:

    Cherokee
    Cheyenne
    Chickasaw
    Clallam
    Commanche
    Denna
    Gabrielino
    Hakomelem
    Lenape
    Nez Perce
    Paiute
    Ute

Were all pretty direct and to the point about Sasquatch (Bigfoot) and they didn’t color coat their beliefs or opinion nor attempt to assuage political correctness by defending Sasquatch behavior as somehow result of man’s hositility toward them … that part is a construct by authors as part of their personal message. These are potentially dangerous creatures and your worst nightmare.

More effort and time is spent looking for sweet attributes with reckless disregard to the uninformed who would approach them as harmless monkies when people should be advising others to stay clear of them out of a responbility to humanity.

We see warnings of bears, wearing seat-belts, smoking cigarettes, stop signs, even warnings against placing a finger in an electrical outlet and yet, there are no such warnings for people of the Sasquatches.
