If it wasn’t a sasquatch I have no idea what it could have been

A listener writes “In the late summer of 2013 I was driving north on I-79 in West Virginia. It was late in the day and I was the only car on the stretch of road I was on. It was still full daylight, but the sun had dropped behind the mountains and trees to the west of me.

I came around a curve in the road and came to a straight section that was probably over a mile long. The southbound lanes were separated from the northbound by a patch of trees that was probably 70 feet wide. About half a mile in front of me something very large – At least 8 feet tall – all dark brown or black, ran out of the woods to the right of the highway, ran across the road in three or four huge strides and into the trees in the median.

If I had had a dash cam I’d have one of the best clips anyone could ever have – it was in the open for at least 50 feet from tree line to tree line. I wasn’t frightened at all, I was just like “holy f@&$!” However, I did speed past those trees where it went in at about 120 mph. Pretty funny.

I’ve only ever told one person about it. If it wasn’t a sasquatch I have no idea what it could have been.”

Sounds like a fantastic Interstate sighting somewhere between Charleston and the Pennsylvania border. It remined me of such a West Virginia sighting a decade ago. A local newspaper in Tipp City, Ohio ran an article of a local resident’s sighting Christmas week of 2015, which she had originally posted on her facebook page from November 2015. I’m sure she caught a good amount of grief by posting it. Thansgiving time she and a friend traveled south on either I-77 or I-64 in W.VA. to pick up her son from a military base in North Carolina. On the way down they spotted a Bigfoot walking up one of the run-a-way truck ramps while it was light out. West Virginia has very steep mountains and highway grades also. I drove over to her antique store in Tipp City, only a 20 minute trip. Walking in I asked her if she was the lady that saw the Bigfoot. First words out of her mouth were I don’t give a F (fill in the blank) what anyone thinks, I know what I saw. I settled her down fast by stating I believe her and wanted to know more about the sighting. I think I told her about local sightings in Tipp City along the Great Miami River that were BFRO reports from years back.
