I Was Sitting 20 Feet Away From This Thing

A listener writes “On Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, My best friend Ellie and I were driving to go get our friend from the Spokane Airport and on our way back home we took a route that would lead through Garfield, Oaksdale, and Palouse so that we were spit out in Moscow so we could avoid the Pullman route.

I would say about 30 minutes before we got to the small town of Palouse, Ellie had to pull over so she could pee and this was at 4:25 pm. The only reason why I know this time is because I texted my boyfriend at 4:32 pm telling him what I had just seen. There were a good amount of trees and Moscow Mountain wasn’t too far away from where we were at. Ellie went behind the car and I scoped out the scene for anyone that could potentially be a threat haha.

I was not expecting to see anything until I saw these reflecting blue eyes. The car lights were not facing this tree where I think the bigfoot was. The reason I say it was a bigfoot is because I was sitting not even 20 feet away from this thing. It’s pitch black outside and all I can see is this thing blinking. But it’s only blinking one eye at a time. I did not take my eyes off this thing and my window was rolled down. And we were BLASTING music out of the car.

As I was having a staring contest with this bigfoot I started to see an outline that was blacker than black and all I could see was the top half of its body in this pine tree. I could see the head and shoulders. It had no neck and it stood about 9-10 feet off the ground. I immediately went into fight or flight mode and rolled up the window in fear, since that’s all I could do. Ellie is still outside with this thing and I’m just staring at it to make sure it doesn’t come toward us. Ellie never saw it and neither did our friend since they didn’t even think to look at this tree. When I was sitting there I got this message in my head that we had to leave right now.

We are not safe and this thing does not want us here right now. And I’m not even kidding as we were pulling away I could see that there was not just one bigfoot, but 3. My guess is that the one standing between me and the other two was the male and the ones it was guarding were a female and a juvenile. I could not believe my own eyes!! After this encounter, I was extremely nauseous for the next three days and I think that bigfoot had something to do with it. Please contact me for more info, I’m happy to share it with you!”

    (New Jersey) These type of encounters have always been among my favorites. Sure, they are not nearly as terrifying as let’s say the Mike Wooley incident, or similar encounters. However, it is the random nature of them that is so fascinating. As a further example, look at the extremely popular TV Series FINDING BIGFOOT and EXPEDITION BIGFOOT., among others . Here you have giant communication companies with deep pockets bankrolling these series season after season , often wiith lttttle concrete results to showw. In contrast, here we have a situation where a couple of friends randomly “pull over so one can take a pee.” The result? Not one, not two, but three Bigfoot,. including a 10 footer are observed !!! Makes me wonder, instaed of spending millions on expensive equipment , travel, etc, researchers would be better served riding down remote roads and areas where Bigfoot have been known to frequent, pull over, and walk into the woods. Repeat that a number of times. You never know who/what you’ll run into !

    (New Jersey) One point I neglected to mention.. Wes and Woody Germer were not exactly on a research study underwritten by a University when they had their fateful encounter. To the contrary, they were two brothers out for a ride one evening, when they decided to pull over and take a break.. The rest is history, and gave birth to non other than Sasquatch Chronicles!
