A listener writes “Hi Wes. My husband and I have had some weird activity around our proper that I am attributing to sasquatch. There is one odd thing that happened that I haven’t heard mentioned. I don’t know if it is sasquatch or maybe some other animal. I would like to know your opinion.
Back in March or April, my husband was walking our new Akita pup through the trails in our tree grove. They came upon a deer leg. It was just the one leg. He didn’t see the rest of it anywhere. A few months later, we were having some old junk cars hauled to the salvage yard. One had been sitting up on blocks right beside our grainery shed. When we went to move that car out, there we found the rest of the dead deer. We keep our firewood in that shed so all winter we were going in and out of there. It seems awfully close to my house for an animal or a bigfoot however that car wasn’t visible from the house. I can’t picture a mountain lion being able to get that under the car.
Other things that have happened which make me feel that we have some bigfoot in the area:
I was mowing the grass and got a really bad feeling. It was so bad that I couldn’t talk my self out of it and had to go inside. At that point I thought this was a spirit type issue but I also signed up for a pistol class. My husband didn’t get home until 8:30 back then so I figured l better be prepared just in case.
One night we were home and it was dark but still early, like 6pm or so. There was a loud bang on our house. We hurried up to shut all the lights off since several windows don’t have curtains. We never saw what caused the problem. I thought it was a ghost.
Those two things happened before I learned anything about bigfoot. One of my regular podcasts interviewed Tony on their show and I started listening. My daughter is very interested in big foot and after hearing some encounters and finding your show, I became a believer too. After hearing other people’s accounts, that made me reevaluate my experiences.
Since then I have heard screams that I am guessing were half mile or a mile away.
One morning, the dog, who had been fully housebroken for several months messed in the house instead of using the dog door. That same day, the dog and both cats were sticking with me in the house, even following me to the bathroom to shower which was very much unlike their usual behavior. My husband went out to look for lion tracks later that day but didn’t see anything.
One night, I went to sleep and left the windows cracked. I woke up at 4 am and it was one of those things where you wake up and are fully alert. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled like the dog farted in the bedroom. Then I heard that samurai talking. It was really brief, like us saying on or two words. Then it was quiet for several minutes and I heard that talking again. Really brief like one or two words. Then it was quiet again. I went downstairs and the dog was sleeping in the living room. That smell wasn’t from him. That was at 4 am on a Friday morning. The evening before, I had picked some elderberries and picked a few grapes from our grape vine. We had been sampling them every week to see if they were ready. Sunday when I walked out there again, every grape was gone. I had them conversed with bird netting. The netting was all in place, there weren’t any broken vines or leaves. It looked just how I left it except for all of the grapes were gone. They had been picked. The stems of the grapes were still there. Only the berries were missing. There is a yard light that shines over my garden. Nothing else in the garden was touched. The fruit grows in a row where light shines on one side of the row but the trellis and the height of the elderberry bushes makes the other side dark. Everything except that dark side of the fruit would have been lit up.
The last thing that happened is hearing footsteps in the gravel road. I had the windows cracked again. I sleep on the second floor. I woke up because I heard this fighting noise coming from the trees across the road. I think it was raccoons fighting. When the fighting stopped, I head four foot steps on the gravel road. The road is about 50 feet from our house. We live in a rural area. Our nearest neighbor is a half mile away. Across the road is an abandoned house that the raccoons have taken over. The owner has cattle there but the house is in pretty bad shape.
I have not seen anything, just heard it but I can’t think of anything else that would talk like that. Let me know what you think about the deer. We live in rural South Dakota. Most of the land around me is flat with corn or soybeans. Most of the trees were planted to create wind breaks. We aren’t by any real forest area. We do have a small creek that runs through our property. We are about 40 miles from the Missouri River.”

Sounds like you have a Bigfoot around keep your animals close or you’ll lose them to.

I always believe they love an abandoned house, hope the writer keeps an eye out and stays safe!

Thank you for sharing I’d write everything down and see if there is a pattern in the activity and yes they will kill the animals
