A listener writes “So I was listening to episode 717 and it really stuck a chord with me because I’ve encountered pretty much exactly what that guy saw when it comes to the orbs.

He’s definitely telling the truth because there were certain details about what he saw which was identical to my encounter back in 1999 just south of Atlanta, GA.

There are certain things that people have said in other reports that made my jaw hit the floor because it validated my experience. Details that you couldn’t make up without actually experiencing it. Basically in a nutshell it’s a combination of paranormal like activity that includes orbs, rods and the predator like thing that people talk about.

This all happened around 1999 in a rural wooded area south of Atlanta Ga. I was out on a date with a girl that I recently met and it was starting to get really late at night. I couldn’t go back to her house because her parents were super strict and there wasn’t much to do in her small town, so we decided to take a drive and see if we could find someplace to park the car and hang out.

We were in an area that was very rural and heavily wooded. We found a road that dead ended into a cul-de-sac that was adjacent to a hi grassy field, that bordered a fence line that connected to a thick forest area. This cul-de-sac was in a remote area and there wasn’t any signs of houses nearby. We were sitting outside of the car in the pitch black of night with a pretty good bit of moonlight for us to be able to see out into the field all the way to the wood line.

After hanging out there for quite a bit all of a sudden I started to get the strange feeling of being watched. All of a sudden my eyes were drawn to the field in front of us and I saw something moving in the high grass. It was very hard to see, like I couldn’t really train my eyes on what I was seeing but yet I could tell something was there. Not only could I see something but I could also hear what sounded like leaves blowing in the wind. Whatever it was eventually disappeared and we just thought maybe it was a deer or something. For some odd reason I was really nervous about whatever that was but I just tried to shake it off because I couldn’t understand why I would even be freaked out.

I was used to being in the woods at night and to my knowledge there was nothing out there to be frightened about so we went back to just talking and hanging out and then a few minutes later I got that strange feeling again and looked back over and I saw this same thing moving through the field coming from the direction it just went from. This time I could clearly see it much better than before and it looked like a transparent that I described as a “misty” object moving through the field.

I couldn’t figure out what I was looking at and I had a strange fear come over me. Eventually the object disappeared and we were both pretty much thinking what the $#@! was that? This time we were both freaked out, so I decided to turn the car towards the field where the object was last seen with the headlights lights pointing in that direction so if it came back we could light it up with the highbeams and get a good visual of what we were actually looking at.

The deer theory wasn’t making much sense this point because if it was a deer it would not have to come back towards us again. We continued to hang out but we were definitely nervous and had this thing on our mind for sure. A few more minutes past and I actually had my back towards the field with her facing in view of where we last saw the object and then all of a sudden I get this crazy feeling of fear come over me and almost at the exact same moment I hear her go oh my god there it is again. I turned around and to my horror I saw this transparent object which looked like it was “sliding on ice” moving through the field. We could clearly see something but I swear whatever it was was transparent to a degree. I was in a state of shock and couldn’t even move to turn the car lights on to light it up. All of a sudden this transparent object went to the edge of the wood-line and then a “dimly glowing rod” appeared and it seemed to be floating directly above the barb wire fence that bordered the Wood line. My brain was trying to make sense out of what I was seeing and at one point I was thinking I was seeing the top of a golf cart and that explained the rod like thing I was seeing. It traveled directly above the Bobwire fence for a short distance and then all of a sudden to my amazement it turned into a ball of light. Again, my brain was trying to rationalize what I was seeing, so I was thinking now I’m just seeing someone out there with a flashlight. The light seem to be floating in one spot moving around just a tad almost like someone was holding a flashlight.

I actually yelled out to the light hoping it may be a person, but I got no response back… All of a sudden at that very moment something then dawned on me and I noticed something extremely strange. If this was a person with a flash light they would have illuminated not only us, but the field of grass that was in between us and the light. Whatever this light was it produced no illumination. I knew there was something wrong and my entire body was paralyzed with fear. It’s a fear like I’ve never known. I can’t even explain it but yet through the years of listening to your podcast I’ve heard other people who’ve had Bigfoot encounters speak of this very same primal fear and I always related to what these people describe. I’ve felt it and experienced it. Next thing I know the light stated to blink and boom it was gone. I regained control back over my body, we jumped into the car and hauled ass outta there. We finally pulled over to another spot a few miles down the road and started taking about what just happened to us.

At one point we decided to drive back to that spot to see if we could see it again but as we started getting close to where it all happened the fear started coming back over me and I then turned the car back around and said to hell with that I’m outta here.

After watching Ron Moreheads the quantum bigfoot documentary he discussed seeing “rod like orbs” in the Sierra Mountains as he described, looking like light sabers. I was shell shocked after hearing that because that’s exactly what I saw. The fear that some people describe encountering these beings is exactly like the fear that I experienced as well. Recently people have talked about encountering the transparent Predator like creature as discussed in the Missing 411 documentary and in many different podcast. It makes me think is that the transparent entity that I saw moving through the field. Another correlation is when people talk about it looked like it was gliding or moving like a cross country skier. That’s exactly how this object moved. It looked like it was gliding for sliding on ice. Like I said, I thought what I saw was a ghost for many years but now after connecting the dots to other peoples encounters it really makes me question what I saw. At the end the day I still have no idea what I encountered but it makes me a hell of a lot more open minded to other ideas and I know that others are seeing similar things out in the woods as well.
