I Am Not Sure What It Was

A listener writes “So I had a recent encounter and I am not too sure what it was I happened to encounter. I decided to go gold panning and while I was hiking to a waterfall spot that I have gone to several times but I have never hiked up above the falls.

So on this trip I decided to go above the falls. Now there are no trails above the falls so I knew it was going to be all off trail. So I was bushwhacking for about 30 min. but I kept the sound of the falls on my right. Above the falls was amazing I spent 2 full hours gold panning up there honestly it looked like no one had ever been there, there was no trash not even a bottle cap. I decided to follow an offshoot of the stream that wound into the woods. Well after about about an hour of exploring I decided to stop for a snack.

I pulled a couple of power bars and a water bottle out of my bag. I drank half my water and had eaten one bar. I decided to pan for a little longer. While I was panning I thought I heard something behind me and when I turned around my other power bar was gone. I could have swore I didn’t put it back in my bag. But I shrugged it off as I must have been tired. So I turned back round and decided I would head back in about 30 min. T

hat is when I heard chattering behind me and I slowly turned around and I saw them. I have no clue what they were. They looked like sasquatches but they were far too small. I was in such shock that I literally fell into the water. And I must have scared them because 2 of them grabbed my pack by the shoulder straps and ran into the woods. And the third screamed at me then followed. I got up and tried to follow but these buggers were fast. I knew I had to chase after them cause my keys and phone were in the pack. I came upon my pack about 200 yards in and my food was gone. My pack was in pieces. Thankfully I found my keys and phone.

I made my way back to my jeep and sat in the car and tried to figure out what I saw. I had a bigfoot encounter about 4 years ago so I know what they are and this was not it. At first I thought maybe they were juveniles but they couldn’t have been the tallest one was 3 foot tall and was covered in Grey hair. Head to toe. The smallest one was about 18 inches tall and was dark brown. The third one was a little over 2 feet tall and was cinnamon color. I was not afraid of them I figured If I kicked one it probably would have killed it. But all three were covered head to toe in hair. They literally looked like a small sasquatch. I know how this sounds. I have been hesitant about telling you. Mainly cause I don’t want to sound crazy. But also I don’t know what I saw. I know how this sounds especially since I have already seen a bigfoot. I know what they should look like. I don’t think they were Juveniles because why would they have been alone. Why would one be grey and only 3 foot tall? Does the species have Midgets? I know about the Albatwitch but I didn’t think they were on the west coast.”

I have heard or read about critters like this before. They have a name for them but I don’t recall what it was. I believe they can also be very aggressive and dangerous.

I guess that we assume that when a grey haired Sasquatch is spotted that it’s an older Sasquatch but maybe that’s not the case. It could possibly be just a DNA anomaly like a white deer or a human albino. ????????‍♂️

Waiting for the show. It’s Snowing in North Puget Sound region (Snohomish County Washington) and elsewhere here, I’m sure! Sure nuff ain’t going hiking, camping, glamping or photo shootin. Bummer. I wonder what it’s doing where Wes lives? I checked the forecast yesterday and it said it was going to rain & snow. We went to the range while we had the chance, then grilled. We had a good time. He said it felt good to get out & unwind a little. I didn’t really think it’d rain & snow today. It did. 🙁
