60 minutes on Sunday, March 19, did a great segment on the gene mutation to make dogs love us so much, and showed these genes have not made it out of wolves. Modern dogs just love us to death and visa versa. I say it is God’s greatest gift to us and am convinced we can re unite in heaven. I even had one Golden Retriever back in 2013, that had passed in 2012, follow my stepson back 3 weeks after his death from CF, in order to make final contact with myself and her son.
