Have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!

A tribute to the men and women who lost their lives fearlessly defending the freedoms we all enjoy. God bless them.

I support our military but they are not defending our freedom, its a farce, they are defending Corporations and special interests, we have had no one invade us since 1812, if they want to defend us the military should remember their oath and lock down DC

I understand what you are saying but today is not the appropriate time to have that conversation although you have the right. This weekend is to remember those who fought and died for that right and many others.

God Bless the brave men and women who put country first and sacrifice, sacrificed and some ultimately so we may enjoy our precious loved ones in a free land. It’s not perfect but it is my home. Don’t take your freedoms and quality of life for granted.

We all need to say a prayer for all of our fallen men & woman who fought for our freedom. I also need to go see my dad at the cemetery and have a beer with him without getting caught! LOL

I know that many SC members, including myself, criticize the U.S. government, but we need to remember those brave men and women who fought for our freedom and individual rights to voice our criticisms. Although the United States of America, Inc. is now a three-ring circus, it is also important to remember its’ history and our fore-fathers’ incredible ambition to seek this freedom. Our nation is far from perfect, but we should all be thankful for the people who sacrificed their lives for a noble cause…their hearts and ideals were in the right place, even if they were unaware of the government’s agenda.

In my opinion, Memorial day is a celebration for the honorable souls who died serving the U.S. military, which included not only men and women, but children as young as 10 years old who voluntarily fought in the Civil War. Approximately 20% of Civil War soldiers were between the ages of 10 and 18…all young and naive volunteers self-motivated to fight for a cause.

R.I.P John Clem a.k.a. “Johnny Shiloh”~ at just 12 years old, a sergeant and the youngest non-commissioned officer to ever serve the U.S. Army. If only we could all be that brave…

Freedom isn’t free.I too am forever indebted and grateful for the opportunity afforded us by those who paid with their lives. God bless the USA as she protects Her own and battles injustices against fellow humans.
