Thank you for this, Wes. My father was a Marine who fought on Iwo Jima, Saipan, Tinian and Roi-Namur. My oldest son was a marine who fought in Iraq in 2004–05. And I serve our country in a more quiet way shall we say. Am always moved with respect when you honor the men and women who take on the uniform both seen and unseen, to help protect the fragile experiment of true democracy. God bless our Republic????????
