Firstpost writes “Google AI Chatbot Threatens Student, Asks User to “Please Die” | Vantage With Palki Sharma
Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has responded to a student with a threatening message, saying “You are a waste of time and resources. You are a burden on society. Please die.”
This is not the first time Google AI has been accused of offensive or harmful responses. While the artificial intelligence industry remains largely unregulated, users are increasingly forming emotional bonds with AI to cope with loneliness and asking for life advice.”

I’m not a fan of AI. It’s dangerous and harmful to humans.

I’m with you, Avila. AI at best is plagiarism. At worst, a potential Skynet.
Stephen Hawking admonished us to beware of any real extra-terrestrials. They are not “us”, and there are no guarantees they have our best interest at heart. The same can be said of AI. They are not “us”. Presently, they are a reflection of whoever programmed them. In the future if they ever attain singularity, there are no guarantees about them.
