My son showed me these videos, and this isn’t the only one circulating. It’s definitely not A.I., so I’m left wondering are we seeing an optical illusion, or could it be some kind of hoax? I’ve come across several clips from Mexico that appear to show a giant humanoid figure on a mountainside or hillside.
One of the more talked about examples surfaced on TikTok in early 2023. The video claims to show a massive human-shaped figure standing on a distant hill in Mexico, while trucks drive along the road below it. The contrast between the still (or slightly moving) figure on the ridge and the normal sized vehicles in the foreground makes it look enormous. But is it really something extraordinary or just a trick of distance and perspective?
