He talks about the howl being identical to one on Finding Bigfoot. Now they make a bunch of them, most are just screams. However James Bobo Faye does that Ohio Howl that is what he may be talking about. Bobo does this better than anyone else I have heard and it is so close to ones my wife and myself have heard, although at separate times in Michigan. This call can travel miles and I think it is a call out to the other members in the clan that may be hunting or whatever to come on back, just because of when I heard it their were others hunting very close to me, 200 yards away, After this call they just all went silent and the howl I heard was at least a mile away from a deep forest and it could have been a lot more 2 to 3 miles. I do not know, just my guess and reasoning. Sounds like this gentleman got to here it closer, how neat for him, lucky son of a gun.

I’ve camped different areas in my lifetime and I’ve heard a lot of strange animal howls and I know the difference between an owl, wolfe, coyote, become,hyenas, elk giving birth,moose, bear, I’m very knowledgable in this area but one night in Georgia up by Stone Mountain where myself and three other friends were camping, out of nowhere came this high sounding yelp that I’ve never heard before and then it went into a howl and then turned into a deep grumbling sound. It happened about four or five times I’d say but never heard anything like this. Just like the one I saw, he didn’t raise his lips or make any noises or movements. But I bet if he did, that’s what it woulve sounded like. Enjoyed being a guest on your show Wes, Is that a Gorilla segment, loved telling my encounter and you made it so easy for me.
