No cougars on Vancouver Island, however a good amount of Sasquatch encounters, also home to the late great Dr. John Bindernagle, I still miss him. Years ago there was a person that saw a Sasquatch swimming towards Vancouer Island from the mainland.

@Charles ~ I miss Dr. Bindernagel, too. I was so pleased he was a friend of Wes’, and he was shared with Wes’ audience. I still feel so bad he left so soon (soon to me).
Anyway, as I’m listening I started wondering about the cougar population on the island (I had never even thought about it, until this morning), so I looked it up. I just wanted to share the link with you. I was surprised by what I found. Check it out:
