Episode 954: Its Head Turned Like A Human Being Is Available For Members. Peter writes “I’m writing to you to share my story about a sighting I had in late winter of 2020 while driving down I-55 in central Missouri.
I was driving southbound a little after 5pm on a Sunday afternoon, I had left Joliet Illinois early that day heading for a park yard we use in west Memphis Arkansas. I must have been about 80 miles or so north east of St. Louis when I noticed, what appeared to be , a medium sized animal rummaging in the pine needles on the shoulder of the north bound side of the interstate . It has red-ish brown hair and black skin on its face.
It was squatting down on the side of the embankment, moving from side to side using its hands to dig in the earth.
At first I said “Oh wow look at the hog digging up the roots” but when I let off the gas peddle and my engine brake started screaming, it and turned around looked at me! So I said to myself “yea that’s not a hog!” Its head turned like a human being. So for about 8 or 9 seconds, I got to experience something amazing.
I wasn’t sure if it was male or female, but after the creature saw me; it stood up.
I would guess it to be about 5” tall. It had long gangly arms and legs, but the torso looked thicker and disproportionate to the rest of its body. The hair on the back of its head, arms, legs, and lower back appeared to be longer than what was on its face and upper back. I never did see the front.
My truck slowed down a good bit in those few seconds. I noticed it kind of looked up into the woods, as if something was giving a signal to come back into the tree line. So it very calmly walked up the embankment back into the pine trees.
What stood out the most to me was the fluidity of its gait. It moved effortlessly up the 3 ft ditch with just a few strides.
By this point I hit my brakes because nearly drove off the road, so I pulled onto the shoulder and stopped , but when I looked back the animal was gone.
I jumped out of my truck and quickly walked up the shoulder to get a better look at whatever I just saw, but after standing in the road for a few seconds I thought to my self maybe not such a good idea. I have no clue what kind of animal that was and walking over there might not be to smart so I quickly ran back to my truck and drove off.
I know what a monkey looks like, that wasn’t a monkey. I know what a bear looks like and that definitely wasn’t a bear. Truth is, I had no idea what I saw that afternoon, but after finding your show on YouTube and hearing so many other people describing the same thing it became clear to me what I experienced that day.”
