Doug says “in September of this year, I was camping in a remote area in South Carolina and one night there was tapping towards the roof of the camper. I heard what sounded like breathing….it is hard to describe. I stepped out of the camper and about 15-20 feet away was this creature.

I can tell you it was a female, it had breasts like a gorilla but the face was across between a gorilla and a person.

The creature then made a cooing noise and turned and walked into the treeline. It was the strangest thing I ever saw. The creature stood about 8ft tall and was massive. I just did not expect to ever see anything like that.”

I asked Doug if the creature vocalized or did anything else and he said “It just made a cooing noise like a mother would coo to her young, it was strange….odd….I have never heard anything like it before, I have never seen anything like it before, then the creature turned and walked off..”

Doug also shared with me some strange tree formations he was seeing prior to the encounter and was not sure what was causing these weird formation in the forest.
