A listener writes “I came across your podcast and thought you might find my story of interest. I’m an avid hiker and outdoorsman in Colorado for many years and in my many hours of time in the backcountry, I’ve never had anything happen except for once.
Ten years ago, my wife and I had something happen to us in the Wet Mountains of Colorado that scared us, and was consistent with the many stories you hear about Bigfoot. Interestingly, I found out after the fact that it was the same area where a father and son saw one off the road that was documented on the BFRO. That really made the whole experience that much more interesting.
I kept quiet about it for the longest time other than me and Sarah (my wife) reminiscing on it. I finally got the confidence to document the story on my You Tube channel where I revisited the site and recounted the experience here:
My channel is not a Bigfoot channel, but the story fit in overall with what I like to do for videos. I take it seriously so I hope you get a chance to check it out and hear my story. I need to see the big fella to truly accept it and that hasn’t happened yet, maybe never will. But this was an extremely significant encounter in my life and I’m grateful for it.

At the 22 minute plus mark he films his jeep. There are two large trees stacked one over the other at about a 15 to30 deree angle upwards. Then another tree behind it going up at about a 60 degree angle 90 degrees different direction. From his distance it forms an X marker. This could have been Bigfoot work. I read the BFRO report in this area from 1998 when a Father and son saw one standing behind a large boulder and the report mentioned the eyes glowed and orangish color. This gentleman probably did hear a Bigfoot with his wife 10 years ago distinguish by the extraordinary loud amplitude continous whooooop sounds.
