A listener writes “I’ve been a longtime listener and love your podcast. I had an encounter a few years back roughly 2014 in Mission, British Columbia.
I was house sitting with a now Ex- girlfriend. We were house sitting on a small hobby farm, a sheep, a couple goats, horses, chickens and 2 dogs.

My girlfriend had left for work fairly early in the morning, so I was left to feed the animals and take them out into the field. All of the animals were acting rather strange, and at the time I thought nothing of it. Later on that night around 9:00, it was dark out, and the 2 dogs were inside with me, and one of the dogs bolted for her crate, I thought it was odd because usually we had to use treats to get her in the crate at night, while the other dog avoided all eye contact with the window that faced the garage across the driveway.

So I walked over and looked out that window, and saw the silhouette of something, it was bipedal, every bit of 9 feet tall. I saw it from the side so I couldn’t tell how wide it was, but it walked in front of the garage, and I could tell that it was hairy from the silhouette.

My first instinct was to grab a flashlight and run out on the back deck and shine the light where I saw it, and I saw no trace of whatever it was. It made no sound, I didn’t smell anything that stuck out, keeping in mind I was on a farm so it never smelt great anyways. I went out first thing in the morning to check on the animals, everything looked like it was in order, I saw no tracks.”
