Willow Creek is known for being the Bigfoot Capital of the World. Right after there were reports of Bigfoot sightings in the area, we had a very eerie experience deep in the Wilderness.

I’ve backpacked in the Marbles several times. It is a wild area snd my wife and I have had a couple of crazy experiences there. We used to take week long trips through there in the early 2000’s. Sadly, much of the Marbles has had fire issues the last several summers and we’ve not been able to go back recently. I’ve also found fresh tracks on a ridge line just a few miles outside of the Marbles wilderness area. That area of California is definitely interesting.
