Wow. Really? “Have failed to get DNA? Mistaking Bear for BF?

Dr. Meldrum does a nice job of explaining the scientific community in relation to the bigfoot phenomenon. Despite the cornball TV shows he sometimes appears in, and in which he usually has little to do or say, he really does light up the topic with reason and common sense. Especially in this interview, which is a kind of synthesis and summary of his knowledge and experience. He represents the kind of voice this subject needs. Thanks for the link, Wes.

It’s a little annoying when the host asks and Dr Meldrum does not dispute ” why haven’t we found a body”. Some people have….those people are silenced or scared to come forth…..remains are likely kept hidden in personal freezers due to fear of the Big brother…..Big brother probably has captured LIVE ONES IN CAPTIVITY…….bodies were found but are being kept from the public for reasons we can only guess at….

@christian ~ that’s what I’m talking about. No disrespect to the good Doctor, but how about some RESPECT to the eye witnesses AND others who have gotten DNA, bodies, heck probably even bones? Could there be a possibility that those old bones in labs and museums might actually be BF?
I know Dr. Meldrum says he wants to find these creatures, but every time I hear him speak he’s pandering to the science community. And talking badly about others who are less “educated”, or don’t meet his “criteria” of expertise just rubs me wrong. Do you know what I’m suspicious of? People who say they really want proof, but look look down their collective noses at real field researchers (and experiencers, for that matter). Of course I don’t know enough to talk about Dr. Ketchum’s work, but I know enough to realize there is ALWAYS two sides to every story.
My goodness, look at the different approach SC has taken. How would you feel to be cornered by these things, scared out of your head and not have a soul to talk to about it? And I dislike people to be constantly calling people liars. Why would native Americans lie about something like this? Anywho…

“how about some RESPECT to the eye witnesses AND others who have gotten DNA, bodies, heck probably even bones? ”
So, where is this DNA, bodies and bones? Where?
If people make claims like this then they are the ones who have to back it up. The onus of proof is on the person making the claim. Whether you believe a witness is a personal decision but for a claim to become an undisputed fact, there must be undisputed proof. Just because someone asks for proof doesn’t mean they think the person is lying and it is just a cop out to say so.
The existence of the Higgs Boson particle was a theory for over 50 years. The physicists who theorised weren’t branded as liars because they couldn’t prove it, as all the evidence pointed towards its existence. It was eventually proven. Same applies for Sasquatch. The evidence is certainly there – sightings, film footage, native stories, track casts but it still hasn’t been proven. There is nothing wrong asking for proof. Dr Meldrum isn’t “pandering” to the scientific community when he talks about this stuff – he’s acting like he should be – rationally, just like a scientist.

You know what? You can think what you want, and so can I. This site is mine to express myself the same as anyone else. If you’re so into Dr. Meldrum and his essentially calling people liars, go join up with him and call people liars with him. There has been proof and it’s been squashed. As one participant stated, people have been sentenced to life for less evidence.

Have heard this story before on the internet. The passenger of the vehicle aimed at a small BF young and the driver told him not to shoot, then the mother came running toward the youngster waiving her arms and hands in the air for him not to shoot. He shot her with a 270 bolt action in the chest and witnessed the hit on her body due to the impact on her hair. She went down and made her way off into the brush on all fours, apparently to die some where else. He then blasted the youngster and while t holding it in his hands looking into its face said over and over to himself ” this is not right, this should not be here”. Both times the driver told him not to shoot but he blasted anyway. The shooter hid the youngsters body in some weeds, then they left and came back after winter looking for the remains. All he found was some hide and assumed that it was the remains, which turned out to be a bears hide… this guy was a real redneck and fired without provocation of any kind…

Curly N S – are you a comedian? This is not a place to joke around ALL the time. This site is serious about what it’s doing. Why are you always making jokes? Just wondering.
Curly N.S.
Who are any of us really, that is the question :1 this topic is one i have followed&enjoyed for a decent while. Why are any of us here, i’m just a member like anyone else thank you. I say that with utmost respect of course. Laughter is a part of my life, just like bigfoot&i wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m out to offend no one, especially on purpose&i enjoy getting comments out there as well. So all else i can say is – I am what i am&that’s all that i am

Okay Curly ~ thanks for your answer, and for not being offended by it. I enjoy humor too, but sometimes it isn’t appropriate, is all. You seem to have a lot of joy, which is cool. It does seem too somber here sometimes, and joy is refreshing. Take Care Curly NS (that IS a funny name!)
Curly N.S.
I greatly appreciate the respect back friend&believe me i could easily be crying instead of laughing. It helps me a good degree to be joyful&do that. I seriously love the bigfoot topic&follow it closely even though my gal/others think i’m silly doing so ? oh well kuzz it don’t change how i look at it. Have a great day&look forward to the next episode, Sincerly- Mike Paradise!

I have had the opportunities to speak with DR Meldrum two different occasions on the friday for over 2 hours, i bought a repo of a patterson cast footprint from him as well as all of his book and wares. He is a very intelligent man, very articulate. In the field, from my perspective, he has no idea how to hunt, let alone the skill and mind set to what it is like to hunt to eat, then suddenly realize that you are being stalked and hunted by more than one forest inhabitant at the same time in an area that there are no wolves. Jeff is an educated and well spoken man…..however he holds dear the idea that SQ is an ape. In my opinion they are hominid, most about as worldly a teenager full of themselves, but the older ones are as forest smart as us.
m99
l ~ it’s purely academic, and that’s the problem. You said it Michael, he has no sense of the hunt, and has ALREADY decided “what” they are. Who knows, he may just be playing a little catch ’em if you can game to placate academia, to hinder or make fun of the whole subject.
It is funny when Wes says “damn dirty ape”, but will later qualify the remark with ~ “I really don’t know WHAT these things are because I don’t have one in my garage.” If “scientist’s could take this view, perhaps we’d get to heart of the matter. Field researchers and scientists working together. Now, that would be Shangri-La.

I just plowed into this and was wondering who in heck is the radio host that carries on in such a professional manner. Well Dave Schrader from Darkness radio and a fill in on C2C AM. I like Meldrum he is great for our endeavor. Michael R says Meldrum thinks of them as an ape and I would assume this is in the manner of a gorilla, chimp, oragatung type and that would be a huge mistake IMHO also. My findings point to a human cousin that is smarter in the woods and darkness than any other creature and that includes us. Second Meldrum thinks these are very rare, maybe they are but I doubt it just on the sheer number of sightings and encounters yearly in which the huge majority just go unreported. I think the numbers in NA could well be over 100k and climbing, but of course that is just an opinion. Another thing is you do not have to go to the deep forest for these wood boogers. They are on the outskirts in agricultural areas all over the continent and living better than ever.
Dave Schrader – I doubt a snake bite in NA is going to do much harm to a Sasquatch – most humas survive them, I have had uncles survive them without antidote in Missouri as youths.
In the whole history of Chimps and Gorillas we have found next to nothing of their fossils also due to the nature of wet forests.
Very good statement about the trail cams, however some pics have surfaced that most likely are. If you had a Forest Giant pose in front of the best trail cam out there next to a tree or measuring device of know dimensions that showed a 9 foot mail with his member dangling and a 5 foot wide chest area and then flexing his muscles in posses like Mr. Olympia showing huge bulging and natural muscles the like that have not been seen – science and skeptards would still claim it a hoax as these great creatures have no place in their very limited world.
