Dogman Siege Of Locket Ranch

The YouTuber writes “Dogman Siege of Lockett Ranch Full Version is the combination of all three parts of this horror story. Dogman / werewolves attack a families ranch in the area of Taylor Mississippi in 1948 destroying everything. This True Horror Story is about the events surrounding those attacks, and how it effected the family. This true dogman encounter was provided by Edward Lockett the third, who still lives to this day.”

Interesting story by all means! Not that familiar with the Dogman in the first place! With an open mind, I go forward with what the future has to offer. Wonder if the area and the stories still reap with similar related stories?

Nah, would make a scary movie (hell-hounds). But, if it’s physical, it can be shot and killed! Could be they just needed to melt down an old coin collection, to make bullets; could be something about the silver. After all, legends get started someplace! I think this is probably the reason flame-throwers were invented.

    • Steven B

The “silver bullet” thing got started by writers later introducing the idea that the “Beast of Gévaudan” was killed by Jean Chastel using “a blessed silver bullet of his own manufacture”. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_of_G%C3%A9vaudan ) The grain of “truth” to silver is that it does have anti-microbial properties against disease causing microbes.

Offer a can of “Coor’s Lite” – it may be “The Silver Bullet” that stops the beast dead if it has a beer addiction… 😉 Failing, that, large caliber high-velocity, heavily constructed lead bullets would get you better penetration – ummm- but save one for yourself just in case…

That was the first time he started with that disclaimer. I couldn’t help but laugh. Dark is pretty awesome. He’s like Wes. Very grateful person.
Wes, you really ought to get him on your show and Woody should get him on his new show too.

Meh, this guy seems kind of fishy to me. Careful about this Wes. Trust you’re first instict. This guy seems fixated on Taylor, Mississippi. Where are Coonbo and Bear to confirm this. After all, this appears to be in thete neck of the woods. I would think that anything in Alabama or Mississippi would have them at least talking about it. Just sayin.

David D, I wholeheartedly agree with the flamethrower idea. Bullets dont seem to have much effect on them. Listen to dogman encounters where the guys went and purposefully hunted one down. Scary, scary stuff. I believe but I could be wrong that it is one of the last 5-6 episodes. It wasn’t far from Taylor Mississippi. They hit it with hundreds of rounds from high powered rifles. So im thinking either an RPG or flamethrower to take them down. Same with BF. But who carries that stuff around right?! Lol I believe the gentleman’s name was jay that hunted it.

Got connected to Dark Water through Vic Cundiff. Both great hosts and interviewers. The Dogman is creepy- and the channel is awesome! So including Wes there are three other hosts…Vic, Dark and Bob G that will scare the living daylights….???

Dogman siege of Lockett Ranch a real nail biter- fantastic- thanks for the info I think Steven B. gave On a forum topic some time ago-
Dark Waters and dogmanencountersradio.com fantastic. Talk about disturbing on an epic level-
Don’t miss dogman encounters.com –Episode 85- amazing accounting fro. Jay tucker about he & his military buddies who spent 4 weeks trying to bring one down.
Also, episode #60 & # 77 are truly “best of”- dogman encounters not to miss.
It would be great to hear Wes cover this subject as well- even if not part of the SC title- plenty to go around for all interested.

One more thought that’s been bugging me about dogman encounters that I’ve been reading and hearing about lately….in all of the encounters that I have heard people giving physical descriptions that include gender identification, they have only identified seeing male genitalia. I have not yet heard of any who reported seeing breasts- the features that made Patty famous-or identify female dog’men.’ Has anyone heard of a description of a female dogman’? If not, then there can’t be any breeding going on, right? So then what are they? Demonic entities? Satan worshipping shape-shifters? What???? Common threads from encounters- pure malice/evil
    comin’ out the gate….

That is a good question. Specifically regarding sasquatch, I am curious as to whether their mammary glands enlarge at the onset of puberty, or if they only become engorged for lactation after they give birth? I study both human and non-human primates, and, as far as scientists know, humans are the only primate (yes, we are primates) to develop permanently enlarged breasts when becoming sexually mature. There are several theories regarding this development. One theory suggests that our ancestors, evolving from a quadrupedal to bipedal posture, gradually evolved swollen, lifelong breasts for reasons of sexual reproduction. In many primates and monkeys, the posterior becomes swollen to attract a mate. Now being bipedal, it is believed the anterior portion of the body developed a similar anatomical feature for sexual purposes. After all, we, including all life, are designed to ensure the survival of the species. To put it bluntly, a great set of perky titties look no different, (yet just as great!), than a bouncy booty.

If sasquatchs’ mammary glands are permanently enlarged (as seen in pictures), this would suggest that they may be our closest living ancestor; however, one can not classify a species based on morphological characteristics alone . . .that is where DNA is important. Now, if dogman lack swollen breast tissue (and possibly eight of them) throughout the duration of their life time, that might indicate they are not only a different species but a separate genus as well. But who knows? It is all very fascinating.

    • Joyce N

if it’s part dog- the dogwoman boobies should be lower and she should have 8 of them. maybe they only appear after she has her litter of pups. I dunno. have a hard time with the dogman stuff. originally thought it was a type of sasquatch-but they don’t seem to get along too well.

  8. michael n

Leah, I would tend to think dogmen would be just like a normal wolf in the way the pups would feed. I would think that unless the female had many young or was currently nursing young pups you wouldn’t notice any swelling on her. If you took a male and female dog and grabbed their front paws to stand them up on their back legs, the only difference you would notice is the males genitals. That is my thought anyway. I could be wrong.

Thanks for another interesting episode. Dogmen are something I just can’t put into context, like reports of BF associated with UFOs. What makes it even more frustrating is that guys I know who are much more experienced than I, whose opinions I would take to the bank, firmly believe they are real. Personally, I suspect they are BF that for whatever reason have an extended baboon-like snout, as I simply refuse to believe werewolves or anything like them exist. I believe all the wolf & werewolf characteristics that witnesses report are a very human attempt to put the animal into an understandable context, even if it is outlandish…

    • Steven B

Jon, when people use the term “werewolf” they are trying give a mental image of what they actually saw. For most, they are not saying they believe in lycanthropy. Saying to these people that “the wolf & werewolf characteristics that witnesses report are a very human attempt to put the animal into an understandable context” is like telling people that have seen Sasquatch, that they saw a bear. For the most part the witnesses have had a good look and see details of the animal very clearly. They know exactly what they saw, This is why it severely traumatizes so many. What they have told themselves does not and cannot exist, they have just come “face to face ” with. It should be also noted as well, that not every witness is seeing the same type of animal.

      Listen to this account.
      http://traffic.libsyn.com/dogmanencounters/Dogman_Encounters_Episode_66.mp3

This witness got as close as a person probably can and still live. It should be noted that the witness *does not* believe them to be werewolves in the supernatural sense – but his uncles did.

Maybe there is some DNA manipulation going on by the government as Wes has discussed in the past. I think our government has played around with BF DNA. Just saying ❓

      • Richard C

Dovie, Why couldn’t it be another type of primate? Seems like there are two types of dogmen being reported, couldn’t one be a large upright Baboon type and the other possibly upright large “Lemur” type? Baboon = short snout, Lemur = long snout, plus some other physical characteristics, like some have tails others don’t. Who knows how many different types of primates there are out there? Seems like the world may be full of these things, all have been living along side of us for a very long time. Majority of Dogmen stories are scary, seem very aggressive and outright killers. Makes you wonder of all the stories we hear about, those are the survivors, wonder how many there are that we don’t hear about, those are the ones that “didn’t survive” an encounter with these things. It’s still troublesome to me, that it’s possible our government knows about these things and is keeping it from the public. Letting people “risk their lives” going into our national forests without any type of warning.

Vic turned me on to Dark Waters & I’ve been following his Dogman accounts ever since! ? Been waiting for Part 3 of the Lockett Ranch Siege! And now it’s available as a full story, all in one! Awesome! Thanks for posting it here, Wes!

  11. Jon B

I believe that is exactly what I said, Steven. When a person sees something unbelievable that he cannot identify, or that simply defies their experience, they tend to put it into a context that they can first, understand, and secondarily, accept. When some witness says they saw a creature that is hair covered, bipedal, huge, and has canine feet (I have an especially hard time with the canine feet) & head but human-like hands, they are simply put, describing a supernatural animal, ie, a werewolf, as nothing remotely like this exists in nature (barring baboons which don’t fully fit the description and certainly don’t exist naturally in North America). What you call it is irrelevant, if it walks like a werewolf and looks like a werewolf… I have been in & around monkee chasing plenty long enough to have developed a substantial shield of skepticism, and I find an actual living dog-man, werewolf, or whatever you want to call it, impossible to believe short of petting a dead carcass. Until actually proven otrherwise, IMO dogmen are misidentified monkees. Were that not so, why would they even be discussed on Sas Chron?….

    • Steven B

Did you listen to Episode 66 – that was no monkey – and yes – for this witness – it happened to be dead. The tracks that most of these creatures leave are canine type tracks – not primate.

    • Jacqueline O

The most intelligent answer to any question is, “I don’t know”, because in actuality none of us really know the truth about our perceived reality . . .even those who have experienced dogman first-hand. Anything is possible . . .

  12. Bryan H

This was truly a great story, and it would be great of Wes or Vic could get this person on there show, to actually hear the words out of his on mouth. This has to be the best, yet scariest story I’ve heard of these creatures around a home.
