DNR fire crew has encounter

A listener writes “Here is the short version of the story Wes, in 1981 I was working for DNR fire crew for the second year so we were doing trail work off of waddle creek road 20 minutes from the state capital I think it is the C-6000 road, that takes you to Summitt lake, we are doing trail work and two of our crew members drank out of the creek and got sick, wonder what that was, so I drove the rest of our crew in the next day. We got screamed at and myself and another crew member saw the creature. Email me and I will give you the full story.”

    Hi Wes,
Did you get this interview? It sounds really exciting and weirod.
I also heard about a bigfoot pulling a fire person out of a fire truck that got stuck in a fire, It pulled him out and carried him to a country road. He got picked up sometime later and told of his story. I think this was in a Southern California fire.
Just to remind you I am a faithful listener that doesn’t always agree with your sentiments about the ” being’. But you and us listeners share the same strong interest. However I want this “being safe” from the government and your guns. i dont care about those whose businesses will ruin due to saving its habitat. Their businesses are based in pillaging pursuits of the forest which have been rapidly destoyed before. This is the kind of being that can protect our forest, just like my ancestors said,” the protector of the forest”. That saying is a prophecy not a description of a gentle giant.
    Keep up the talk, thanks!,

Brad, we can’t wait to hear your perspective as I am sure the topic came up from time to time in training and during actives. To me, these are the most reputable and fascinating accounts due to the level of experience and time spent in the forest. Brad, I am sure Wes will contact you this week, beating Woody at poker may require a short trip to town…
