Yes, they are here. I also live in Sweden in a city called Linköping. 2.5 years ago l came upon a trackway in the snow while out walking my dog in a nature preserve area just outside the city where we walk every day. Since that time l have had many experiences including a full upclose sighting. I believe there is a group living in this area due to the many signs l find when out as well as knocks, whistles, 2 stick throwing experiences, growls and 1 charge. My last experience was the lasweek of June when my dog and l had a large branch thrown at us. Asxwe of course turned to go, l saw a head and arm go down behind the bushes followed by 2 loud steps as it went quickly away. Then a very low growl on my left very close which frightened me badly. I have not been out to that area since then and will not go alone. It would be nice to be able to tell someone as my husband refuses to believe me (although he has heard wood knocks, 2 whistles and several footprints). To his defense, he is an avid hunter and l believe it frightens him. The 1 friend l said something to laughed and then said l thought lT lived in the US….washington woods. So l am alone in my experiences.

Yes, it is true. I live here in a city called Linköping. Just outside the city is a large nature preserve as welas forrest and farm lands. In late January/very early February 2014,l came upon a very long track way in the snow while out walking my dag (l walk in this area every day). I was quite suprised. Since that time, l have experienced many things as well as having a very close up sighting and being charged from a dense willow woods grove. My husband has heard the knocks and whistles when out with us as well. My last experience was this June just before summer holiday – l have not had the courage to go back to that area. My dog and l had a large branch thrown at us (l saw a redish head and arm just going down behind the bushes snall trees, then 2 very loud steps as if running as we turned to go back up the trail to leave. As we walked back out to the road, l also heard a low growl to my left. Very frighting. I believe there is a group living in this area due to my many experiences. There are dense woods, farms, lakes and a large quary all in this area. I have stayed out in the open fields since that last growl.
