Discovering Big Foot’s nest

Tales of Big Foot – a large, hairy, ape-like creature that roams the forests – have persisted for years. But a lack of sufficient evidence, save for the odd footprint, or shaky home video, have led many to conclude the creature doesn’t exist – until now. Big Foot enthusiasts have found a nesting site in Washington state, where they believe several of the creatures have made dens, unlike any other nest found in North America. Now, Morgan Hoffman is about to get an exclusive look at these nests, and with the help of Big Foot expert, Dr. Jeffery Meldrum, will find out just how revealing this new discovery is.

Personally, I can’t agree with Dr. Meldrum in regard to the rarity of these creatures. I believe there are far more of them than was originally thought. Due to their intelligence and other abilities I believe they are able to co-exist with us with a degree of anonymity. Yesterday I observed 4 deer in my yard, as they entered the grays of my landscape, within a few feet of my yard, they virtually disappeared. I think that is true of Sasquatch. I also think their numbers are increasing. I heard a group of what I estimate to be 3-4 of these creatures, because of their individual calls, right after dark last night. When they yell in unison like this, I equate it with making a kill. I think I can safely say that one would not expect to hear what sounds like a crow, an owl, growls and monkey chatter all in unison! I know no other explanation for such a happening! Especially when coupled with rock clacking and tree banging. My mood fluctuates between worrying about becoming their food and the thoughts of some 42 years here in which we have not been harmed!

Dr. Meldrum has previously stated there might be 60 to 100 sasquatches in Washington and 2,000 to 3,000 in all of North America. I think he low balls the number.

Very interesting video on possible nests. I can’t imagine what other creature would create those.

~ I’d tend to agree with everything you said. Interesting about the deer coming into your yard and disappearing like that (camouflaged). Apparently they feel your yard’s a safe zone. Stay watchful. Thanks Sid, what great observations.

Jack ~ that’s what I wonder. And why call him a BF expert? Wes is more an expert, but shuns the term, and rightfully so, by saying, no one (at all) is an expert. Is every anthropologist a BF expert, because they study and speak about the possibilities? And how is it that his colleagues still acknowledge him as a scientist? What’s the secret, balancing two worlds ‘Believer -v- unbeliever’ ? Because of his apparent status in both worlds, I’m a bit leary of Dr. Meldrum.

Dr. Meldrum sticks his neck out to even say they exist (in the scientific world) so I imagine he keeps any claims on the low side just to keep the peanut gallery at a dull roar. Just my guess as I don’t know him or follow much.
