Daytime road crossing near Forks, Washington

Here is a report from 2011 in Forks, Washington: “The sighting was the creature crossing the LaPush Road. We were shocked and do not recall the exact mile marker closest. However, it was on a 90 degree (or close to) turn in the road.

The area that the creature entered was so thick it would be hard to enter, however, it had no problems. Not only this but off the road there are large ditches a person would have to jump. This was agile, tall and took 2 steps that took him off the road and into the woods. The stride was sooo long!”

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Ghee Bouche’:

I spoke to the main witness to the incident, who was very forth coming about the experience and stated that the most noted aspect of the sighting was the fluidity of the creature’s motion across the road and its ability to clear the road in 3 steps. She estimated the individual of interest to be between 8.5 and 9 ft tall and having cinnamon color hair with darker hair on the ridge of the back and elbows. It appeared to be a medium aged slender male from her observations. She also observed 2 other cars that swerved to miss the crossing incident and subsequently caused her husband who was driving, to do the same.

The sketch is above.

That’s an interesting sighting. We’ve been wanting to take a ride around the Olympic Peninsula and go to Forks and La push. No doubt there are Sasquatch there.

M99, I worked in LaPush. We drove that road every morning, and night. It SUCKED! Loved the place though! If you ever go there you need to drive the long road to LaPush. You should stop at Lake Quinault, and stay at the lodge. VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! You will be driving threw my town Aberdeen on your way!

Thanks David! That’s where Kurt Cobain was from, isn’t it? I’ll make a note and will do it probably this summer. We live in Snohomish County. The past few years the job has shipped my husband off and we’ve missed the opp to go to the Peninsula. And, once, on a holiday we mistakenly thought we’d go out there on a whim, and there were NO motels/hotels available and we had to go home (We’re used to Texas, where you can be spontaneous. Not Washington State though). Looking it up now and saving it in favs. Thanks again. 🙂

Floyd-We have a cabin above the Hoh River about a 1/4 mile where the Hoh empties into the Ocean. We have found many tracks from our area –Oil City-along a trail that goes down to the river. My son has had two sightings in the Oil city area. If you Google earth you can see the area I am talking about. We are about 10 miles down the coast from LaPush very remote.off the grid. Floyd

@Floyd ~ Wow, that’s wonderful! Thanks for sharing that and for telling about you guys experience. I just can’t wait to get over there. I love North Central Puget Sound, and want to stay / live here, but can’t wait to see the West Coast region and especially the Olympic Peninsula. I keep reminding myself this is where we live so be patient. Anyway Thanks for your post! 🙂
