I really want to talk to this witness:

“Hi Wes my name is —– ———, I’d like to start by saying that I am a huge fan of the show and have been listening to it since the first episode and am actually getting the full membership as a Christmas present hah. But anyways I wanted to tell you about an encounter My brother and I had in Highlands County, we are from Fort Lauderdale, the city of Davie so we ride ATV’s down here all the time, Our family has a lake house on lake clay in the city of Lake Placid FL so it was Me my dad my younger brother and my older sister, this was about 10 years ago so I was about 16, younger brother was 14, and my sister was maybe 17, although she wasn’t part of the encounter but she was riding ATV’s with us that day. My dad drove us all to an area north of lake placid that had sand tracks for ATVS and bikes and the area was pine flat woods type forested area(with a big orange grove field actually not too far from where we were at) I am going to send you a google earth location so you can check out the little sand tracks in the middle of the woods. So anyways we pulled up in an opened up area of sand just off of some old beat up road in the middle of nowhere to unload the ATV’s, there were 3 total and my dad and sister had the big one and they road together, my younger brother road a smaller one as did I, so me and my brother being close in age were really close at the time so we went out on our own and were following each other through these sand trails and just to mention we didn’t see anyone else out there that day until we were packing up.

Anyways to get to the encounter now it was my brother Daniel in front of me and I was following him and we were in a small tracked area(meaning the trails were small and all wavy with lots of turns) then he was a little ways ahead of me and he had just made a right turn that opens up into a much wider and long stretch that was a straight away stretch until the end where it split up into multiple small trails again but as soon as he turned the corner I heard him shut off the ATV, so about 15 seconds later I come up and pull right next to him and he started getting a weird look on his face and he said Josh what is that and he pointed down the trail to the left, there was a massive figure standing near the shrubs and trees just right on the sand barely and we had thought it was another rider that maybe broke down, (I’m not too good with judging distance but it was about half a mile maybe a little close actually) down the wide stretch that had woods on both sides but as we shut the ATV’s off the creature stood still and was slightly swaying sort of looking in our direction so we both got off and slowly started walking closer and we walked about 10 steps which gave us a better view of this thing and the reason we stopped walking was because it turned at us and looked like it was planning on coming our direction, so right after it turned its body a little bit towards us the thing shot across the wide sand trail going fast and was covered head to toe in blackish brownish maybe 4-5inch hair, we were still a distance away but it seemed to have a black face or maybe dark grey almost like a chimps face color.

As it ran we noticed that its strides were very long and the arms seemed somewhat unproportional to a humans,, they were longer and just kind of swaying as back n forth as he ran but not like humans run, he was almost dragging his arms (is the best way I can put it) so it just ran across the trail then into the woods on the other side and me and my brother started discussing what just happened and what was that, we both new what Bigfoot was at the time  because we had seen the legend of boggy creek when we were younger so we were assuming that was what we saw so then we started the atvs back up and slowly started to drive past the area where we saw this thing, we saw minor impressions in the sand but couldn’t make out too much of the toes and after we looked at that we just rode back as quick as possible back to the trailer and truck and waited until my dad and sister got back and i actually ended up flipping the ATV on the way back, once we got back we started talking about it some more and we both agreed whatever it was was no human, we didn’t tell my dad immediately because we were always little prankster teenagers so he wouldn’t have believed us anyways but later on that night we did tell my sister and she was even hesitant to believe us, but anyways to get back to the things description.

I had described it as shaq from the NBA. the thing looked to be about 7n1/2 feet  tall, pretty bulky upper chest then the legs were normal sized, they were still shorter (as in the arms swung down longer and it had shorter legs than what you would expect) but anyways i ended up reporting the sighting to the BFRO because when i google Bigfoot sightings that was the main sight that was there at the time and i did not like the approach the investigator was doing the interview, it was almost like he was trying to put words in my mouth meanwhile he would keep calling me non stop even while i was in school so i finally just talked to him for about an hour one day and went over everything, BFRO Report 14021: Daylight sighting by two ATV riders near Lake Placid That  is the link from the BFRO database, also mind you when I wrote to them i was in middle school so i wasn’t very professional at the time, i didnt use correct spelling and also had a shitty vocabulary. me and my brother still to this day talk about it here and there but ever since then I’ve been a huge Bigfoot enthusiast.
