Devil’s creek……. it must have been named that for a reason! I know I always pay more attention to places named like that since reading the 411 books!

This is weird, because back in 1991-92 my best friend found those lakes. We went to a place called South Mountain, and it was used to look for forest fires years before. Well I saw two beautiful lakes down below us. My buddy said he thinks that they’re called Dry bed lakes. I bought a map that showed how to get there. One you could drive to, and the other you had to hike to. The other was VERY steep, and deep. Very beautiful deep green color. No bigfoot though.
