Chilling Howls Recorded in Northern Manitoba

The YouTuber writes “Nelson House Manitoba has had reported bigfoot activity in the past, did this woman record the sounds of his mournful howl? In 2006, ferry operator Bobby Clarke was taking a vehicle barge across the Nelson River at the northern end of Lake Winnipeg when he noticed something on the shore. He grabbed his camcorder and shot a 49-second clip of a tall, dark humanoid figure moving on the riverbank. One of Clarke’s neighbours, says there’s nothing to be worried about even if it turns out that Norway House is home to the legendary Bigfoot, also known by its Canadian name Sasquatch. “I think it’s scared of people.”

Very good recording. Mobile phones are nearly everywhere now, so ordinary people are more likely to have a bit of technology at hand to document these things.

Waylon, after the first howl they start talking and I hear a hollow knock that seems to echo. Could that be a moose knocking an antler against a tree? Im asking because I live in Cincinnati and know less about moose than women……lol

This is where field-craft and experience really come into play. The folks in the video obviously have no idea what wolves sound like, let-a-lone a moose or sasquatch. Again to me it sounds moosy, but I would love to see the original audio on a spectrum analyzer to be sure. Sasquatch imitate a lot of animals, some much better than others. Food for thought it that people call moose in vocally ALL the time. There are contest that exist for it. If WE can do it vocally there is no reason a Sasquatch would not be calling in a moose in the exact same way and would likely excel at it by comparison. Could this be a squatch calling in a moose? It’s not beyond possibility but the odds of witnessing that so close to a dwelling or at any given time would be high. All things considered. in my opinion it’s a moose.
