    Great report from a fellow “Hillbilly!” Many West Virginians have experienced encounters with these creatures, myself included. My Grandmother used to tell us grandchildren to get inside around dark so the “Boogers” didn’t get us. I never knew until the past few years that Sasquatch were called “Boogers” in the South. I really never thought about what my grandmother may have been referencing or even if this is what she had in mind. By the tone and seriousness of her voice we knew it was something to be feared and avoided!
