Unexplained-Mysteries writes “If you’ve ever wanted to roam around the forests as a cryptozoological hominid, now you can. Developed by Planet 47 Games, the game enables the player to become Bigfoot and engage in all the typical activities that you might expect a tall, hairy, bipedal ape-like beast to spend its time on.
“Catch and eat fish, insects, and other creatures,” the game synopsis states.
“Forage the forest for mushrooms, berries, and more. Build shelters to store your items in to get through the harsh winters. Earn extra points by breaking branches and scaring the wildlife.”
The game has its share of obstacles too, from Bigfoot hunters who try to take pictures of you to adverse weather conditions.
The game – called Bigfoot Life – is the latest example of the highly popular ‘simulator’ games genre which seeks to simulate things that you wouldn’t normally expect to see simulated.
One of the weirdest examples – I am Jesus Christ – is still in development but aims to enable the player to roleplay as Jesus, complete with performing miracles and walking on water. There is also the highly popular Goat Simulator series. What’s next – a Loch Ness Monster simulator ? You can find all of the above-mentioned games on the Steam platform for PC. You can also check out a trailer for Bigfoot Life below.

Ha! looks pretty Kool, it runs on steam (the gamers will know what that means) but the game isn’t available yet as of this writing. but they have a wish list you can sign up for on the site. I’d assume they’re trying to gauge people’s interest with the “wish list.”
platforms are Windows and the steam engine apparently. I couldn’t find an expected release date but surely it’s there somewhere in the link above.
