1st!! North GA looks like such a Sasquatchy place. Looks like perfect with the deep forest, lakes and I’m sure there is a lot of food for them. It’s great hearing stories past down through the families. It’s just that you wonder how much of the story is either lost or changed.

Whats weird is Lake Allatoona,Cherokee County is pretty damn close to Metro Atlanta. We used to go up there rather frequently in the 70’s and 80’s on the west side of the lake.We had a boat slip at a marina on Allatoona and as a teenager used to sneak the keys to the boat and go with friends and party and have a good time,we’d fill up the tank and go all over the lake checking it out . For being so close to Atlanta it’s rather secluded, and gets less traffic than the other more popular Lake Lainer and Lake Hartwell Have heard of bigfoot reports in Red Top Mountain state park which is on a peninsula on Lake Allatoona.
