This episode features a well known 911 call of a man in Washington state calling the police after he sees something in this backyard. This bigfoot eyewitness describes the beast as all black and very tall. The witness states that he does not believe in sasquatch and wants nothing to do with bigfoot stories.

Still creeps me out.

(New Jersey) Not sure if this is accurate. However, I think I read somewhere that when the witness says ” that SOB is 6 foot nine, I don’t know,” he really thought the creature was much taller, maybe 8 foot plus. The reason he didn’t say that, is he felt the dispatcher wouldn’t believe him and wouldn’t send someone to his home. I seem to remember an investigator tracked this witness down and was told that when he interviewed him.
Jeff M
You would be correct.
Maynard w
I think Ron Morehead investigated it and thats what he reported the caller said during an intetview.

“Interview”
Glen K
(New Jersey) That is right. Thanks Maynard!

Ive listened to this many times over the years & it still creeps me out, two questions come to mind that I’ve often wondered number one is who is Theo? Number 2 didn’t Ron Morehead interview this guy? And as a result of Ron Morehead’s investigation nothing more could be really pursued because apparently the guy is kind of a “leave me alone I don’t want anything to do with this topic” type of individual. Any other activity on this guy’s property or in the area?

Love it one of my favorite witness encounters due to the evidence and the cenierty in the mans voice

It still cracks me every time I hear the diapatcher say “Uh-oh.” She’s probably glad it’s not happening to her.
Scott M
Dan M., he doesn’t say Theo. He says G*d Damn, you can hardly hear the first part but replay it again and I think you’ll find it obvious…
Pete M
You’re absolutely correct, I’ve heard an uncensored version and he says “GD.” His dog was killed too previous to this 911 call, but within a few days of it.

This is going to be a good interview.. waiting for ever for this one..

One of the best and most compelling. What I find so convincing is not what the caller says, but what he doesn’t say. He is clearly trying to avoid saying this thing is a Sasquatch for fear of not having the police come out.
Jeff M
Wes, you have to get this guy on your show.! It is a must! Do it Wes!

I thought that witness had died years ago, maybe he’s like Snake Plisken. Best 911 squatch call ever IMO.

As a 911 dispatcher, (at least where I work), we have to set up a call no matter what. Unless they are a chronic caller and the address is flagged. Too much liability to just assume what someone else is experiencing.
Jeffrey M
Would love to hear this interview

Was there ever a show based on this call? Does anyone know the episode number?
