Matt and Bear continue their discussion about bigfoot research, including the subject of reported eyeshine. Does a bigfoot’s eyes really glow? They also discuss some of their own encounters and experiences.

informative. Thanks!

Matt and Coonbo, it never ceases to amaze me the number of scientists that have such little understanding of the physical realm around them. Our institutes of higher learning do a very poor job preventing these soft handed couch potatos from getting their diplomas and degrees. Most of the egg heads around me should be wearing helmets due to their inability to understand the form and function of physiology and mechanics. Gentlemen, like you, possess a far better concept the complex organisms and their systems. Matt, your comments on EYE SHINE are correct with regards to the ability to focus ambient lighting. The minute I hear talk of “glowing” bioluminescent light bulb eyes, I immediately become skeptically biased and question the source.

My apologies, I meant Bear and Matt. We know is Coonbo knows his stuff too…

I don’t throw out claims of self luminescent eyes yet…because of how poorly understood our world is. Maybe we are dealing with two types of phenomena. The difference between seeing a living person and seeing a solid looking ghostly apparition for example.
I know little about FLIR photography and such but hope that analysis of light from eyes with technology gives us more information on this debate someday.
