Bigfoot & Cryptids in Minnesota with Don Sherman

Jen & Jena welcome Don Sherman to THE JOURNEY Radio Show to discuss his research into Minnesota Cryptids. Don will share with us about Bigfoot, as well as lizard-like creatures the Ojibwe Natives have called “Dragons.”

Donald Sherman’s Biography in relationship with Bigfoot (The Big Man) I’m a retired 65 year old Ojibwe who was born and raised on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation in Northern Minnesota. My Dad taught me deer hunting at the age of 10. I have loved the outdoors ever since. I’m an artist, singer, musician and self proclaimed cryptozoologist.

Sasquatch were not “playing” with those horses, but raping them most likely. Listen to Bigfoot Outlaw Radio programs. This is known by quite a few people, and actually witnessed by the grandfather of one person telling his story.

That’s how I got to believing in Sasquatch, had a lake place by Brevik on Leech Lake and our neighbors who lived there started having encounters while trapping, hunting and building deer stands. I remember going to view the deer stands towards Longville our neighbor built 30 feet high ten miles away from their normal hunting area because the wife and sister refused to hunt in their usual spot due to the activity. I became a believer because I knew the father wouldn’t lie about it. This was back in the late seventies, close to Brevik.
There are anomalies in the bog on the north side of the Boy River between Leech and Boy Lake. Holes in the Bog wich are round holes twenty feet wide and two feet deep with water. Found them on Google Earth and can’t find them anywhere else in MN or in the world for that matter( I haven’t looked everywhere but looked a lot and in Ontario also and I can’t find them anywhere else at all) I do not what to attribute them to? I even asked the MN DNR and the one fellow who answered back was aware of them too but did not know what they were either and felt it would possibly be known by locals who were native to the area and had a family history there. Anyone can see them on google earth. A mystery to solve. Hole in Bog lake and that whole area North of Leech seems mysterious to me. Love it there.
