Very interesting. I’m a member with Bigfoot and beyond. These guys are very intelligent and seem respectful. I still have not made it to the museum but I think in the few weeks that will be one of my goals.

The family that owned the fish cannery moved the operation when the waters started to be over fished. The local logging companies also due to modernization. These factors created people moving away. Not bigfoot.

I read ATG’s article listed above. In its conclusion, the author jumps to or argues for his own conclusion as to why Port Chatham was abandoned, because he likes it better than having to believe in Sasquatch. That author and maybe ATG have never seen a Sasquatch and I wonder whether their views on Port Chatham would be different if they had. Telling children of a Sasquatch in the woods that can carry them off could be used by parents to keep children from wandering off, but that does not somehow prove that the warning has no basis in fact.
