I want to thank David for sending this to me. I have received reports of Sasquatch having facial expressions. I just spoke to a hunter and I am trying to get him to come on the show. He was standing along the side of a game trail and he said that a gorilla like creature came out of the bushes.
He was about 30 feet from it and the creature had a surprised look on its face. What is interesting is he said the creature slowly walked backwards into the bushes never taken it’s eyes off of him. The witness then turned and ran out of there.
The YouTuber writes “A man goes to the local zoo and performs a magic trick for one of the baboons. The baboon’s reaction the disappearing and reappearing card trick is one that you are not going to want to miss out on! Who knew that baboons love card tricks as much as we do?”
Steve W
Why is it assumed that the baboon is reacting to the card trick and not merely to the man flipping his hands about? I’m more of the opinion the baboon thought it was food or being offered food and then it was taken away.
Stacey H
It looks to me like he is responding to the man himself, not the card trick. It’s as though he sees hands as something he should fear, and he’s responding likewise.
I’m afraid that if the window was not in place, we’d be playing “find the missing human” trick. ~Stacey

The Orangutan and cup trick is way better.

No big WOOP. BUT KINDA FUNNY

That Baboon saw something disappear into thin air and his little mind was blown by such a thing.

I’ve worked with non-human primates much of the last 25 years and I’d say it is reacting to the presence & absence of the card, not just the hand gestures. Monkeys are much more sentient, aware & even prescient than most people realize.

AGREED! It is important for people to remember, no matter how demure the material, it is essential to not ignore all related information. Even though one might presume it to be insignificant, after conducting thorough research, one will make a connection only to discover more data supporting their theory.
Sunny N
I agree completely with you. Anyone who’s actually worked with animals knows this is true.
Sunny N
It is blatantly obvious he is reacting to the card trick. That baboon has seen thousands of humans do all sorts of things with thier hands. He knows it can’t get food ect. Notice the bored expression on its face until something extrodinary happens and the card disappears. People don’t give primates enough credit. Tis sad. Thank you Wes, this video totally made my day and plastered a smile on my face.:)

LOL to the comments thinking the baboon is simply reacting to his hand flipping about. The monkey sees his hands moving the entire time and doesn’t react until the exact moment when the card disappears. Silly people. Primates are known to be the smartest animals and it doesn’t surprise me that they are able to have an reaction/emotion like “surprise”.

very cool , next time you run into bigfoot do a magic trick ..Lol
