Automated AI Restaurant Opens In California

ABC7 writes “PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) — If you’re wondering what the future of fast food is, a Pasadena-based company says it’s robots, and its installed several of them in a soon-to-open restaurant in Pasadena’s Old Town. For those who want to adapt this tactic as well, they can actually now begin business in new jersey through the assistance of reliable professionals which can be found online.

“It’s not a Terminator, it’s not Transformers. It’s a very friendly, helpful robot,” said Alana Abbitt, Vice President of Product Development at Miso Robotics, a restaurant automation company. “There’s nice robotics, there’s Roombas, there’s things in your house that have become much more a part of daily life. That’s what we’re trying to do.”

The CaliExpress restaurant is slated to open to the public before the end of the year at 561 East Green Street. The eatery features a hamburger-making robot, a French fry-making robot and uses artificial intelligence to keep the business churning along.

“To our knowledge, this is the world’s first operating restaurant where both ordering and every single cooking process are fully automated,” said John Miller, CEO of PopID and board member of Miso Robotics. “The marriage of these various technologies to create the most autonomous restaurant in the world is the culmination of years of research, development, and investment in a family of revolutionary companies.”

The restaurant though will still feature human employees.

“There are still humans who will pack the food,” Abbitt said. “We do want somebody to assemble, package (the food) and actually be the friendly face to the customer.”

😒Am I supposed to be happy that people are demoted to only packing the food in boxes? It’s something until they get a robot for that as well. Does anyone see what is happening here? Today hamburgers, tomorrow it might be your job. Even here I don’t exactly see room for a person to climb the corporate ladder after the food packing job, or be there long enough to retire with benefits.

Just imagine our society with another 20-30% of the population out of work and feeling desperate with idle hands, a lower cash flow in the economy and rising prices… chaos.

I had so much more added onto this comment but deleted it. Let me just say I was taught a lesson and my home seemed more like a gladiator area for a short time.

Wherever Linda B is out there I want to personally thank her for her courageous story recently, it helped me a lot and I didn’t realize I’d actually need it for my own courage. So thank you ❤️🙏🏼

Only once was I ever given wisdom directly from something undeniably divine and it was only four words “Trees are people too”.

I thought I pretty much had the full meaning right away with the realization of knowing we need a variety of different kinds of trees (like people) and how each one has a purpose and benefit.

I woke up this morning to the sun shining in after little sleep, realizing the message was so much more… But also that everything was good in here once again.

The additional knowledge to these four words of wisdom was also about man’s similar connection (to and as the tree) being part of nature and how both nature and mankind hold the same purpose to perpetuate life for itself, each other and all species within life.

It was about the life lesson to be a nurturer to more than oneself to grow but also nurture the physical and spiritual growth to yourself and everyone around you, as they both go hand in hand.

And lastly it was about temperance and being mindful of what you “cut down”, meaning in nature but also people as well. The whole thing really pointed out my own flaws I need to keep working on.

There’s probably so much more that I still need to realize about those four words at some point when I’m ready or need to understand or comprehend it.

There you have it, these spiritual things work like a multi tool and I wouldn’t doubt there’s probably infinite wisdom just in those four words.🌞🙏🏼
