Arkansas Vacation

A listener writes “In the summer of ’22’ my wife and I were renting a house near Witts Springs Arkansas. This is a rural area, and we are used to that being from Iowa.
We arrived and to the entrance of the driveway where we had unlocked a gate and traveled maybe a half mile up the drive to house.

We had to remove and tree that had fallen across the drive to be able to reach the house. The tree was maybe six inches at the base, and nothing looked strange and we thought nothing of it.

When we reached the house we found a hound dog waiting to greet us. We affectionately named him Martin. We had our two rat terriers with us and the three were instant friends. We assumed he was used to renters and wanted food and water so we obliged him. We did the usual vacation stuff and took in all the local attractions of hiking and local restaurants.

The third night of our stay we decided to sit by a fire and relax with the dogs and Martin. I want to remind you that this a rural area. There are no street lights or sources of light other than the stars and our fire. The three dogs were all laying around the fire and we needed more wood so I got up from my chair and went to walk away when my wife said ” Hey knock it off”. I said don’t you want more wood for the fire? She replied ” Yeah just not a rock “! Simultaneously the three dogs stood and faced the direction I was going to get wood from. Our dogs immediately then went to my wife and were trembling. Martin the adopted hound snarled with his tail raised and bolted off into the darkness.

When you go camping and are fireside everything away from the fire looks so dark you can’t see anything. It’s hard to switch from the light of the fire to the darkness of nature. My wife was concerned about bears and mountain lions so she asked me to walk her and the dogs to house. So that’s what I did.

As we began walking she asked me if there was another rode we didn’t use to get to the house. I asked why, and she said ” look someone is coming”. I turned to look and saw headlights coming from where there was no rode but only a valley of woods because the house sat on a flat surrounded by woods much lower in elevation, a gradual slope of around 100 feet. I instantly realized there’s no way a car can be coming at eye level let alone above the trees. I told her to go inside and went directly in the direction of the “headlights”. The two lights seemed to be few hundred yards away and slowly merged to one light. The light also seemed to be coming toward me. As it got closer the now single light gradually dimmed and then went out. I thought “huh that’s weird ”

I turned and went inside where my wife was not happy with me and let me know how less than intelligent my actions were. She assumed the lights were hunters and told me to go put out the fire and come to bed as she had her fill.

As I walked back to fire with my back now toward where the light or lights had came from a small rock landed near me. I turned to look in that direction and saw Martin the hound. He came straight to me and put his side firmly against my hip and was kind of pushing against me. Almost leading me in the direction of the house. I turned and began walking to the house with him pressing against me firmly all the way to the house. When I reached the house and opened the door I reached down to pet him and was going to bring him inside when he turned and ran again. I went inside and got ready for bed.

The next morning came and we were scheduled to leave that day. My wife told me there was a protocol for securing the house and a phone number to call letting them know the house and gate are secure. I called and did as I was instructed, and while speaking to the caretaker I asked jokingly if the hound dog was part of the security and did he need fed. The man replied he didn’t know what I was talking about but if there was a dog there it was probably a stray and not to worry about it. I told my wife we were all set and left the rest of our dogs dry food by the fire ring with a bowl of water and began out drive back to Iowa.

This may not be worth your time or related to your show but it is the single most strange thing we have ever had happen to us. I never heard of your show until a year after this vacation, and only listened as a source of entertainment. The first time I heard someone on the show refer to strange lights I looked to my wife and she just said ” NEVER AGAIN BABE, NEVER”!! I knew exactly what she meant. Our vacations are now at all inclusive resorts surrounded by people. Thanks for reading.”

Good day everyone and welcome to another article responded to by your ugly green buddy “Dear Blabby”. I like this story a lot and it adds proof for myself how spiritual realms interact with us and how surprisingly active they are within these spiritual battles in all of our lives, and do so wether you believe in spirituality or not. The doors are always unlocked and ready to be opened to enlightenment and wisdom if you seek it. The longer you hesitate to seek wisdom in positive spirituality you unknowingly become either a pawn or a puppet and unknowingly reliant on Gods grace and mercy to keep you from falling through trap doors to nowhere.

I know what many of the yay and nay sayers are already thinking,“He’s gonna say the dog was an Angel and the lights were demonic”… Saying the same things, just in a different tone of voice or frequency with one sounding a bit on the snarky side and the other with a ring of hope.

So, is this particular dog actually an Angelic being in temporary disguise?…maybe so, maybe not. From my point of view I would testify that positive or negative spiritual beings can take many forms in this world and I’ve already had a sample of both. That being said, this encounter wasn’t my personal experience and I don’t know the people who had the experience personally, so I can only make a logical conclusion for myself based on my own experiences and contemplation I put towards my journey, hoping to seek answers which (to myself) revealed wisdom and ways to reveal even more, like learning how to read, and then learning which books to read for truth, then learning which books might contain more truth just by looking at the cover.

Sometimes the real truth reveals itself in the wrong books, simply by seeing things in a more virtuous or spiritual light combined with our intuition, even revealed through the simple understanding of right and wrong and how that correlates to good and evil. I hear your thoughts again…

I’m not here to push the Holy Bible on anyone admittedly I have not fully read scripture yet,I’m actually quite terrible at reciting anything from it word for word, it just rings true when it calls to me. If I were the guy in the Dos Equis commercial most interesting man in the world, advertising the Bible vs beer in a similar fashion to my life, it would sound something like this… “I don’t always read the Bible, but when I do… Acknowledgment.” Or wisdom, or comfort, understanding, compassion, etc. Amazing things in there.

Side note: Dos Equis translates to “XX”, X might be an Egyptian symbol for death, your childhood cartoon or emoji for being beaten up, knocked out, passed out, expired, even used in entertainment as a representation for sin. X marks the spot where the gold people would kill for is buried “Oh that lusty shiny treasure that beckons me to rip into the ground and grind its gravellll!, then when I find it I’m going to hide it, all for myself!”. 😂
The Sasquatch X: This area is mine, Squatch only, No pink monkey humans allowed, or else!
The eX: The lost love, the separation, the heartbreak…
I could go on and on and on.

You want to know what I think an X is? An X is all of this and more. It’s potentially the hidden symbol for the Holy Cross being broken and tipped on its side, the symbol of a broken spiritual connection. In a mocking manner it could be a separation of that divine love, blinded by greed and sin. The spiritual connection and senses dulled through overindulgence and the loss or lacking wisdom from not seeing it’s true form from as many ways as you can. The lines as two small “v’s” pointing towards each other and then balanced at the tip, where your personal actions and intentions ignite a small spiritual war inside of yourself. X is the empty chalice filled with your preferred alcoholic or even healthy drink of choice as it sits… Turned upside down it can only be filled with something more bitter, dangerous and even deadly to you. The X in all forms speaks to moderation, awareness of self, wisdom and tragedy, noticing subtleties, drinking responsibly in moderation when you’re not sure which side you’re truly sipping from (If you sip slowly you’ll find out eventually
If your cup is correct). When it’s contents are proven to be a benefit for you and those around you drink up, until then “Stay thirsty my friends”.

Oh yeah, the encounter story! I just wanted to say that there is wisdom to be had from this experience for the witness. Start with knowing the qualities of good and of evil, write them down as a list in two rows if you have to, some things will seem to fit in both categories, look deeper and teach yourself how to distinguish those. And lastly, (because this story contained a lot of the witnesses own questions or memories and qualities of things that stood out), contemplate why and how certain objects, or sizes, shape and colors, darkness or light stood out to you while backed with an open mind to how spiritual things could interact or influence sometimes metaphorically or even metaphysically… You might get your answers sooner that you think.

BTW, I don’t even drink beer… Cheers anyway! I do like the Word though:) 🌞

I just wanted to add a disclaimer or make more clear about learning to develop your intuition or read into symbolism… Not everything you find has intentions of good or evil, some things are coincidental or just innocent unknowing human things that may have began as something ancient but over time became just a product of communication in a functioning society just trying to get by. There are tons of good people out there that are so compartmentalized they don’t realize their job has anything to do with any negative undertones, especially when you’re limited for time to think and contemplate when you’re simply trying to pay the bills, so please forgive. We are all products of our own environments that like to push a lot of products around.

In any case we are all merely mortal and made with our own flaws and limited personal time to attain knowledge and more importantly (IMO) wisdom. Within humanity there are so many unique types of people and personalities with different skill sets and so on, so a method of understanding that may work for one person may not be the best route for another. I don’t intend to guide or on the flip side mislead anyone either. The fact of the matter is… It’s very easy to get fooled by something dark or ancient that has seen it all, so this is why even intuitive things have to be taken with a grain of salt and pondered on, sometimes for weeks, months or years before it makes sense or even nonsense. Consider things (even if you have to imagine yourself) with a pure heart. Strive to do what is right and good while appreciating things beyond yourself.

We are all tested, but sometimes when you look back, the most difficult times you have overcome with patience and positivity actually may serve you very well later… Your losses are temporary, faith heals, opens your mind and heart, it cleanses, reveals truth to what awaits and who waits for us. There is a plan, put in place from the beginning. ❤️🙏🏼🌞
      God bless all
