Alberta recording

Someone just sent this to me, I believe I have posted it before. I always thought this had a mechanical sound to it or like it was being played from speakers but it may be the headphones I am using, what do you think?

~ Tim Sermons and the Texas bunch have some very sobering sounds, as you well know Wes. The above sounds almost sounds created. It has a hollow yet deep quality to it, but to me, doesn’t sound like a cougar, maybe a bear. Anyway, the last recording, from Sasquatch Sounds, is the closest I’ve heard to what the screams were coming from the bayou behind our house. My dad said it was coyotes, go to sleep. I told him there were people out there, he said no, it’s not, go to sleep, then I think there’s ghosts in the woods, no, go to sleep…

The clipping might tell the tale. But having played music my whole life, the reverb (echos) really gives it that doctored feel. Large cat played through a mixer pod is this guy’s opinion.
