A large canine like creature standing there

A listener writes “I’ve been dealing with strange and unsettling activity on my property in Georgia since 2019.

The first incident happened when my father and I were outside one evening. We both heard a deep, powerful growl unlike anything we’d ever heard before. Almost immediately after, we heard something large moving away from us through the woods. Whatever it was, it sounded heavy and fast.

Nothing major happened again until the summer of 2023. I was walking home from a neighbor’s house three houses down from mine when I heard a loud metallic bang near my property. Behind my house is a thick wooded area. When I looked toward the trees, I saw what I can only describe as a large canine like creature standing there. It had amber colored eyes. The moment it noticed me, it seemed to vanish back into the forest. The encounter shook me deeply I can’t explain how quickly it disappeared.

In 2024, when the hurricane came through our area, we lost power for several days. We had to keep the windows open at night to stay cool. On about the fourth night, I was in my room when I heard something outside heavy breathing, sniffing, and low grunting. It sounded large. Whatever it was came within five feet of my window. I didn’t look outside because I was honestly too afraid.

Since then, whatever this is seems to come around more often. I’ve heard the same metallic sounds twice more, though I didn’t see anything those times. Recently, neighbors have reported pets and other animals going missing.

I don’t know what this is, and I don’t know what to do about it.”
