The first time I heard parts of the tapes in 2009 (I have the whole collection on CD) I knew they had a language in some form that they were conversing in. Albert Oastma may have been the first to mention there language in his abduction story from 1924, being a prisoner for a few days, mentioning that they would chatter back and forth with each other. In the book 50 years with Bigfoot, Janice Carter related that her Grandfather Robert Carter Sr, who owned the property that had ongoing habituation for many years, told her that they spoke a dialect of the Cree Nation who were the largest and maybe most ancient of the North American tribes mostly based in the Canadian lands west and north of Lake Superior. Robert had spent some of his early years with the Cree Nation.

I spelled wrong, that is Robert Ostman.
