A listener writes “Hi Wes, Unfortunately, I wasn’t present for the actual sighting, but my (now deceased) husband and two daughters clearly saw what I (only now) know must have been a Sasquatch.
One day, while I stayed home at the cabin and napped, the three of them went for a hike on the property’s long, secluded 4-wheeler trail. I think it meandered toward the Madison River.
It was a wonderful, very private vacation rental we were staying in that summer which at that time was called The Dancing Bear Ranch, but that information probably shouldn’t be mentioned on your show. It has since sold, I believe.
Wes, the entire time we were there, I had an intensely strong feeling we were being watched on the second floor of the cabin, which was so new that they didn’t have any window coverings up yet. Initially, we were supposed to have stayed in the much nicer and larger main home, but they were having some refurbishing done and told us we would have to stay in the mother-in-law suite (unfinished cabin) nearby (walking distance on the shared driveway).
There was no one staying in the large home while we were there, but occasionally we saw a hired worker drive past during the daytime. It was so strange that I felt that someone was looking into the second-floor window. I felt it so strongly that I went several times outside to check, and there were no ladders or trees in the vicinity of the window. There is no way someone could have peeked in that window.
Back to the Sasquatch. When my husband and two daughters (4- and 9-years old at the time) returned from their picnic hike, my husband was very pale and looked scared. He wouldn’t really talk about what had just happened. My daughters said he turned green when he saw the upright, flat-faced bear down the trail from where they had stopped to have their picnic. This creature was about 50 to 70 yards away, was dark brown, standing completely up right, and was swaying slightly (“like how Daddy does when he’s having a long phone conversation,” my daughters said). My husband was pretty silent about what had been seen, but said that he wanted to look at one of those park signs that illustrate the different types of bears in our area. We jumped in the car a little later that day, and when he found one of those informative park-side brochures, he studied the pictures and commented that the bear pictures didn’t look at all like the big flat-faced creature they had seen earlier that day. Sasquatch never even came to mind, for me, at least.
The creature never looked directly at them. It was standing on the edge of the path facing the other side of the path. So, all they could see was the profile and body shape. The arms were bent and close to the creatures’ body. The legs were long. The head was round. No smell.
Another interesting thing, Wes, right in front of our cabin rental, across the driveway, there was a small, crystal clear, spring-fed pond on the property, with a little bridge leading to an island with just enough room for a gazebo in the center. Pool toys and such were stored in the open gazebo. My husband and I would slowly snorkel the ring surrounding the gazebo while my aunt (who came along) watched our kids at the shallow end near the home. Every time we swam to the far side, we felt strong dread, like something dangerous was over there. We couldn’t figure out why we felt that way except that we are from Florida and of course are always on the lookout for alligators. Even though we knew there were no alligators in Montana, that side of the pond felt extremely ominous. We stopped going to that side.
Nothing else strange happened while we were there. If I hadn’t come across your show and heard some of the accounts, I would never have thought of the possibility of the creature being a Sasquatch.
The owners told us they were preparing to sell the property. An interesting side note: Dana Carvey, “the church lady” from SNL and his family stayed at the home just prior to our arrival. I wonder if he saw anything.”

Listen to your instincts, but also try not to live in or overly feed the fear.
There’s been too much fear generating in the world for far too long. If our actions were kinder, considerate and more righteous you would see more communities of strength and more intelligent people that were self regulating for the betterment of everyone.
We’d sleep more peacefully, and have brighter, more optimistic days with less fear. Fear is a vampire ☀️🙏🏼IMO

And yes, I did just watch Voyage of the Demeter last night… so bite me! 😆

I mean no disrespect respect here, but remember not so many years ago when many people were reporting “Sasquatch” as looking very flat faced and in a Down’s syndrome sort of way or before that more like a caveman or even an ape?
I haven’t heard that type of description in a long time. Newer sightings seem to be increasingly more human looking, evil looking (dogman?) or having more intelligence or other worldly aspects or abilities.
It makes me wonder about collective consciousness, Me too theory, but also evolution mirrored from a non physical realm and manifested into a more physical form derived from the worlds negativity, evil and fear. (Evil evolving, something giving us a sign or warning to some impending danger, just as Mothman could have?)
Just thinking out loud. Wes or someone like him with chronicled reports could give more credence to it than I could… I might be talking hogwash idk
