ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Yeti, Sasquatch, El Squacho, it has many different names, but no creature is more elusive than the Bigfoot.
Often associated with northern states along the west coast, this large mythical ape has had many sightings over the years within the mountains of Northern New Mexico as well.
In this episode of New Mexico Strange, author and paranormal investigator Cody Polston joins KRQE News 13 host and anchors Chad Brummett and Stephanie Chavez as they take a dive into all things Bigfoot in New Mexico. Polston, who is into all things strange and unusual, is an expert on this creature and many others, and is writing a book about Cryptids in New Mexico, including Bigfoot. Polston dives into famous Bigfoot sightings, controversies around these sightings, and popular theories about how Bigfoot avoids contact.
