A listener writes “When I was 16 years old I love to explore the woods of Maryland especially in Seneca Creek state park which at the time was in my backyard. I would take my brother with me fishing for trout and go looking for shed antlers in early spring. On one afternoon my brother and I decide to go exploring in the creek valley to find new spots to go fishing. We walked a huge bluff over looking the valley and found a huge new island created by seasonal flooding.

We decided to descend down the bluff on a small very used game trail going all the way to the banks of the creek. Right before be got descended down into the creek we saw a huge mahogany colored mass on its knee on the banks of the creek. My brother and I stood as still as could be not making any noise and observed for what seemed like an hour. The Bigfoot finally turned looked up on the creek bed at my brother and I stood up fast and bolted up the banks of the creek on our side towards a dense overgrowth bog/marsh. After that my brother and I ran out of the area back up the bluff my brother was crying he was only 11 years old at the time I was more amazed than in shock since we had surprised and scared a bigfoot.

That’s a very long story afterwards and the days following that event my brother and I have not spoken about that day almost 10 years ago. I have never been scared of bigfoot and have never had any sighting since however I’m a hardcore bow hunter and last season I heard what I thought was a buck grunting then heard a tree fall over and loud tree knox which was very strange looking back that same evening I saw two white large orbs that looked like camping lanterns going deep into the woods that got as close as 40 yards.

Any way that’s my story about my encounter and strange experience I’m open minded on what happened on my second encounter and I’m just wondering if any east coast hunters you know have had similar experiences. Thank you for what you do Wes have a good one!”
