A listener writes “Over the past few months I have been driving my work van though the backroads of Eastern Kentucky and have come across things I can’t explain. Everything from sounds to smells to even a sighting or two (not sure what exactly I saw).
Two weeks ago I was in Elliot County Kentucky driving between Sandy Hook and Grayson near Grayson Lake and saw what looked to be three large men in weird suits. The only thing that didn’t make sense was these three figures were quite tall and with me being 6’8″ I can recognize height a bit better than most (at least I like to think I can). Anyhow, I slowed down because deer season isn’t here yet. They were a color of long reddish brown and seemed not to care for the cars going by. They didn’t run but walked at what to look normal for them but covered a bit of ground with each stride.
Another time, I was in Perry County Kentucky near a state park and heard what sounded like a drunk man yelling for his coon dog. (haha) It was far in the distance and I asked the guy I was working with what he thought that sound was. The guy told me not to worry about it and we just went on working. These sounds lasted for a good 15 to 20 minutes and sounded like there was more than one yelling.
In Knott County Kentucky, I was stopping at a family member’s house to pick up something for my car. While there, we went around the back of his garage to get something and we both smelled something that just flat out stunk. It was like that rotten smell you smell near a sewer or even closer to that, the rotting smell you get near a swamp or wetland. We heard something up the mountain from us shuffling from one tree to the next but odd to me was that it sounded like it was going up the mountain rather than coming down.
When I was younger on my grandfather’s farm in Northeastern Kentucky closer to Grayson Lake, upon the ridge from time to time I would see what looked to be large man walking along the ridge. My grandfather would always tell me it was the guy that lived on the other side of the ridge. However, that never made any sense because the guy that lived on the other side of the ridge was no taller than 5’8″. My uncles would tell me about a wild man or two that lived in the area and as long as we respected their privacy there was nothing to worry about.”

When I used to live in the woods near Grayson with my squatch buddy I would walk on the ridges so I can scan territory, I would see this kid always staring at me. I asked my buddy what was that kid doing? “He replied he visits down there and if we respect their territory they will respect ours” I than asked what if he doesn’t? My buddy set the deer carcass down ,looked me straight in my monkey face ,and said “than we will eat him”

I wonder why for so many people that have sightings or close encounters, after the initial one they tend to have others?
