A listener sent me this encounter. The encounter looks like it took place in Osage County, Oklahoma.
“Our friend lives out by Skiatook lake. There was a cove about 2 miles from his house straight through the woods. We all were being guys one night and got brave and decided to go down to the lake with nothing but one pen sized flash light. We all walked down toward the lake laughing and goofing off the whole way.
You could hear crickets and birds and owls and all sorts of the animals, after about a mile and a half I suddenly got really scared for no reason. My hair on the back of my neck stood up and I froze. I couldn’t shake it and so I turned to tell the other guys something was wrong and they at the same time turned to me and where all freaking out and felt the same way.
When we froze and started looking around we notice a few yards in front of us there was this weird tee pee stick structure thing made by twisting trees together and boulders all around it. That’s when everything in the woods went quite. Eerily quite. Not a sound. I could literally hear my heart beating in my ears I was so freaked out. We all then panicked and realized we were lost. Luckily the friends neighbor had coon dogs so he suggested it and we whistled really loud and could hear just them way way off in the distance. We then got in a straight line with me in the very back in the dark since I was the oldest guy there as I felt responsible and the front guy with the light. We were going to follow the sound of the dogs to lead us out of the woods.
What scared us next even worse is we could hear something taking a step every time we did. It would stop when we did or take a extra step. I could hear what I thought was two people following us trying to parallel us. One on the side and one right behind me I swear I could sense how close it was. When we hit the opening out of the woods we all together ran for it went in the house and didn’t talk about it anymore and never went back out there. We never told anyone because we were afraid they would think we were crazy. At the time I thought it was people but the more I thought about it I believe it was a two Sasquatch’s.
