A listener writes “A couple of weeks ago I took my family camping in the San Juan mountains outside of Durango, CO where we live. Our campsite is several miles up a very rough 4×4 road in a remote part of the county. On the first evening we all heard several clear wood knocks around our camp.
After we all went to bed my dog was standing in the tent growling in a certain direction which is very unusual for her. She doesn’t really growl. I also heard another wood knock very close to the tent after I had gone to bed.
The next morning, my buddy who was camping with us told me he heard weird yells/conversation coming from lower down the mountain but it was hard for him to distinguish what exactly he was hearing. My buddy and I both had a hunch that there were some Bigfoot in the area but my wife is a skeptic and couldn’t really offer any explanation for the wood knocks.
The next weekend, my wife was running up the same 4×4 road which she does quite often. On her run she found a barefoot track which is highly unusual because of how rough and rocky that road is. The track seems smaller than my size 12 foot but bigger than her foot. I thought the track looked pretty unusual and it didn’t totally resemble a human footprint. There were only 2 footprints on the road and it wasn’t a trackway leading to/from a certain point.
