One of my younger listeners wrote me and said “We would hunt coyotes at night and my friends dad is I guess you could say rich any ways he bought us night vision goggles and we would hunt on a high line and he would get on one side of the high line and he would get on the other and we would get on sycamores and use climbing stands to get on the trees.
Anyways night fall came and we set up at 6:00 in the evening about a week ago and put 3 dead rabbits in the middle of the high line trying to lure them into the crossfire. Anyways the clouds had come over the moon so we couldn’t see in our night vision goggles we waited for about 30 minutes and the cloud had slipped over the moon and we heard a pack of coyotes coming so we communicated through our phones through text message then we saw them and we aimed when I texted him to get ready and He could start shooting when I did { we carried .22 automatics} right when we were about to fire the 7 coyotes stopped and stood still and started whimpering and then I texted him whats spooking them he responded with I don’t know then out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure about 8 foot tall and it was full black.
I put down my rifle thinking it was a person I looked at My friend and he put down his. The coyotes took off and we watched it go up to the rabbits and I saw it crouch down on its knees and I was terrified it started eating the rabbit then it let out a scream I put my hand over my mouth and stated crying I watched My friend and he just watched it then I saw another one walk out. It walked out right below me.
It was terrifying they started eating, this one was about 9 feet tall they stayed there for what seemed like for ever I don’t know how long they really stayed there but it was a while.
The thing that scared me the most was that we could hear them talking it was like gibberish I looked it up on the internet and the only thing that in my opinion it comes close to it is called the sierra Nevada sounds. I had a nightmare last night and figured the only way to stop the night mares was to talk about it.
Thank you for your time”
